Finally got around to watching this and I can safely say it was awesome! I can't wait to see where this is all going and what other monsters we'll see along the way. I love the monster designs and the fights were entertaining and perfectly balanced with both Kaiju getting good hits on the other. Wasn't expecting the monster dialogue though, not exactly how I'd go about giving the monsters character but a nice inclusion none the less
Far better than the first episode, love the flashback sequence with MUTO prime and Dagon!

I always forgot that Kaijus are intelligent creatures that's practically Sentient. So I guess it makes sense for Dagon to have actual like family and for Godzilla to be able to communicate with other Kaijus

That Mecha G design was actually really cool
You can tell Godzilla learns some of Dagons moves and the moves used against him. When Dagon went to attack Muto prime, Muto prime punches him in the opposite direction. But Godzilla uses a kick instead. And Dagon uses his sharp dorsal fins as a weapon and creates a large wound on Muto primes stomach. Godzilla does the same but instead uses his claws. This was a great animation. Better than episode 1. Can't wait for part two!😀

Excellent work DinoMania. The animation is very well done and I like seeing the different multidimensional shots of the Kaiju you placed in here. It kinda makes them feel more tangible like they are in the Godzilla: The Series. Although the monsters move a bit faster than I'd be comfortable with considering their massive size, they still have a significant amount of weight to them. The intricate sound design also helps makes this an immersive experience. I enjoyed this part 1 a lot and it seems to be building up to something much larger. I look forward to part 2 when you're ready to bless our eyes and ears again. Have a great *insert time of day here*! :D
P.S. I like that the Kaiju talk with one another. I personally would have tried making them more unique by giving each of them a specific personality. Characters with opposing views tend to be more interesting than those that have the same mindset. However, this still works especially considering that this series is in its early stages. Keep up the good work! ;)
Edit: Also Also, I am so glad you show Godzilla and Dagon using their dorsal plates as weapons! Few animators think about that when they feature the nuclear lizard in a fight.

I love that in this Godzilla feels like Godzilla Jr. on steroids. Plus this in general was just amazing, can't wait for part 2, but, take ur time. I also really loved Dagon's/Dagon equivelent's dorsal slash under water, felt inspired by GvK and was just really cool to see him do that.
This episode is incredible! So far the story is best told here, definitely a 9/10 episode, episode 1 just an 8/10 btw, the animation is much more satisfying to look at here aswell!, and is it just me, or is the dialog here way more mature and better than any of the dialog in jurassic world camp cretaceous? 😂, I also adore the gore, amazing work dino, worth the wait.
I don't remember JW:CC having Kaiju in it.

@@rhinoxsaurus3560 I compared them because I just recently saw the JW:CC season 4 trailer before this video premiered and I just thought the dialog in the trailer is stupid, it feels like it's someone's first time writing lines, and the final words in the trailer "that's new" was a stupid line everyone movies likes to use.
So yeah, that's why I compared this dialog to JW:CC dialog.

I loved how this Mechagodzilla is a hybrid between a past and a future one. Hearing Kiryu again is great and her roars are just awesome. Hearing Mechagodzilla’s roars from GVK is awesome too. I also heard the roars from Supermechagodzilla too. What a hybrid.
This is the 50th time of mistaking Kiryu for a female mech. AGAIN. 🤦🏻♀️

That’s a really cool MUTO prime model, it looks as if it might be a ungrown species, after all it seems like this lore does take back some time ago, and I noticed some of the attacks you actually made, awesome to see you made effort in putting in your own stamp on such a creature, an you even modified the appearance, awesome! something else I wanted to add on was that how intelligent you made Godzilla himself, when fighting MUTO prime, this is kinda not necessary but i like how awesome you made the ocean, by how vast it is, and the whole setting itself is very realistic, The beginning was also very pleasant, and you left on such a good part, and I’m excited for episode 2, but you deserve that break!

Ahhh! You’re really getting great with all these angles! These fights are getting super creative, you improved on muto primes design really well compared to the comic, and I adore that Destoroyah tease! Its a nice seeing the crests on mechagodzilla are retractable for the sake of the disguise, theres a lot of attention to detail here part 2 is gonna be rad! Like the rest of the series i’m sure.

I see Godzilla got actually REALLY big redesign. His dorsal plates got more like KiryuGoji's, not FW-like. The armor on his arms is harder to see. His head is smaller compared to his body so he doesn't looks so much like FW. Ears are now smaller, tail is bigger and legs are more muscular and it makes him look SICK (in positive way)

I see a hole load of improvements. 3D effects are used alot more, definitely more interesting and there alot of kaiju action.

What an absolute work of art, these animations of yours fascinate me a lot, I am impressed that you have been in charge of creating and animating a MUTO Prime and a "Mechagodzilla" with a Godzilla costume, it is noticeable that you apply more and more 3D effects in your 2D animations and that is very great, I imagine that making the scenes with 3D effects is a little more complicated, especially because you have to draw a lot more, you are the best Dinomania, it really shows that you try hard to do this great job, LIKE!.

I may have said this already, but just from this and the first episode, THIS is what Toho should have made, or something similar, when they announced their Godzilla anime, and not what we got from the Polygon trilogy and Singular Point (not saying they're bad, just not exactly good starting points for that chapter of the franchise).
