Yes I have seen a pair of scammells move a much heavier /bulk/ier load through some pretty narrow points,, used to have loads of photos, but all lost in a house fire, some huge loads moved through lancs when building the morcombe bay gas field... all the very big cos came through, Sunters, Picfords et al, as a 10 year old , for one they even had to partially disconnect the national grid, because lowest point in cable span meant too low over the load, think that was a sunters load to liverpool
