Fellas- I was in the same exact position as the Jet with my passport. Last Thursday my app was still “in process” with 7 days to go before a bachelor party in Mexico (leaving tomorrow), I hit up my local federal representative for my city and told them what was going on and that I needed it urgently. They put in a federal inquiry on my behalf. Received my passport yesterday (5 days after my first email to them) and headed to Cabo tomorrow 😎 highly recommend that route
I second this. Me and my dad needed our passports early and called our local state representative (OH) and we got the passport a couple days later
Yup, same here. Called my congresswoman. Someone from her office called me back the next day. Had my passport a few days later. Definitely the route to go.

When I was getting mine a few years back you were able to get it same day but you had to drive to certain cities to get them and they were pricey.

you guys would have the BEST trip ever travelling to Newfoundland, Canada. With all of your personalities, this would be a trip of a lifetime. The oldest city in North America, the famous George Street (street completely lined with bars and old taverns), the sights (very similar to BC) are absolutely breathtaking and the best part about the province is the people. Newfoundland is world renown as some of the friendliest people on the planet. If you ever even want to consider this experience please reach out!

You might be able to go directly to a passport agency office that can hopefully print you one on the spot but you have to get an appointment through the passport line I think - wishing you a miracle Jet.

I know im late to this Pod, but i just got done playing a round at Pebble for the first time and it was incredible. One way to get on is if they have cancelations. They take your name and number and call and let you know a week or two ahead if they have an opening. If you get on this way it doesnt require you to rent a cabin our house and make a weekend of it. And Cutsy is right, it was about 800 a person with a caddy and cart. Having a caddy makes the experience hilarious. Im a 13 handicap so i have about 4 shots a round that you just gotta laugh off, and your caddy will run out of ways quick to say things like "ehh that one wasnt so bad", or "youll be fine hitting from there"

Good call Joey D on the Cabot Cliffs idea. There is also Cabot Links right beside it and two other world-class golf courses within an hour. All in Cape Breton Nova Scotia. Canada 🇨🇦 on the Cabot Trail. Also, a short flight away is Prince Edward Island. (PEI) My homeland and it is also amazing. You’ll want to move there I promise.
You boys need to come to Big Cedar Lodge here in Missouri this fall! You can play a Tiger Woods designed course (Payne’s Valley), a Jack Nicklaus designed course (Top of the Rock), and a Ben Crenshaw designed course (Ozarks National) all at the same resort!

100% agree that you guys should do trips off the beaten path and not just the typical super-expensive places (Pebble, Scottsdale, etc, even though those are cool too). Lots of beautiful fun courses out there. The bts for Canada is about to be off the charts.

If you do a Kiawah trip, PLEASE drive up to Charleston and play their Muni!!!
It is deceptively one of the hardest courses you'll ever play entirely because of their green structures

Going to Pinehurst for golf is a super special trip. You’ll never forget it if you play there. I’m not sure that they are ready for BDS but it is a Mecca for golf. It’s not cheap but it’s not obnoxiously expensive like Pebble. There is also a remote number of properties in Northern Michigan called Tree Tops that are gorgeous mountain golf courses. It is great in the summer when it is so hot in other places.
He needs an enhanced drivers license to cross the border by car.
Low-key golf trip for the boys is Kiawah SC. Charleston night life. Awesome golf courses. Low-key but beautiful beaches and scenery.

Cabot cliffs and Cabot links are two of the most beautiful courses in North America. It’s absolutely worth the trip for you guys. And you can’t beat Eastern Canadian hospitality
