- We love Phuket Town and finding great places to eat!
This is Lock Tien: maps.app.goo.gl/tBibPdh7VsaF5... - one of our favourite local, Thai food spots in Phuket Town.
We love the outdoor food court style so that you can order different things from different vendors.
We ordered:
- fresh spring rolls - 45 THB / 1.22 USD
- Noodle soup - 70 THB / 1.90 USD
- Pad Ka Prao Chicken - 60 THB / 1.63 USD
What's your favourite Thai dish? 😍
I lived in Phuket Town for six months while volunteering at an English after school program. Please do try the weekend night markets, the small stalls, the out of the way places and consider sharing the prices as you do. I remember a weekly night market with so many options busy and bustling that I went every Saturday for months and could hardly try the same thing each time. This was a few years ago but 60 baht could get me a pad ka phrao or a pad thai with a heaping bowl of greens and soup each. Phuket town I thought had so much more to offer than the touristy places on the beach and you could always take a blue bus for really cheap to head to the mall or the beaches. Enjoy!
Thanks for the comment! 😍 we've lived in Phuket for 5 years now and love a night market! We actually don't enjoy the Sunday night market in Phuket Town though 😶 (probably a very unpopular opinion!) We just find it too chaotic! But we've posted a YT video about Chillva which is one of our favourites! 🥰
Totally agree that Phuket Town is almost so underrated compared to the beach locations across the island! It has so much to offer!
Authentic......This is no 'street food'....
It may be unclear from the video but this is multiple street food vendors under one roof in the format of an outdoor food court. It is very much street food 😂
Funny guys
Wish you luck with your travelblog… Just don’t sell BS..
Streetfood….😅😅
