You are doing a good job and working hard on these videos. Over the past lifetime I have visited many of those spots where you camp. The area today is known as a managed forest which is absolutely park like. Love those trees!

thanks for showing us a walk in the woods. So many peeps who haven't been in a RV, camping trailer, truck camper dont realize it is ALL camping...gonna get dirt on their shoes and into their rig.
I am in Wine Country, California. We have had some devastating fires over the past few years. Many trees are still standing, The fire only burns a little of the bark because the fire moves so fast. The regrowth from the 2017 fire is amazing! Some areas you cant even tell there was a fire. I am a fan of controlled burns, it keeps the fuel down so we do not end up with 250K acre fires. Love Ecko speaking!! LOL

The brace definitely helps Dodger. I noted early in the video he was walking and even ran a bit. Then without it, big difference.
The small fenced area is a forest study area to monitor growth of grasses , etc., without being grazed on and compare to the area where animals can graze

It's been pretty steamy up this way past week or so. I usually try to get up right after sunrise to walk when it's much cooler. Still loads better than those poor folk in phoenix. Got a buddy that lives in Quartzsite year round in his Skoolie. He say it brutal down there. He found a friend deceased in his rig a few weeks ago from the heat. We had a herd of elk hanging in the field across from our camp the other night and into part of the morning. Hopefully the daytime heat eases up soon (doubtful). Take care bud.

As a couple of oldsters, we can appreciate Dodger's plight. Still watching to get a bead on area and climate, and where you guys are at seems ideal for this time of year. Trying to work with our 3 Australian Sheps. We love to camp but it’s hard to keep an eye on them off leash. I would love for them to be able to get out and run, smell the forest. Soon.

When we were camping we always try to leave our site cleaner then the way we found it.
Which means sometimes cleaning up other peoples stuff.

Awww, the dogs were extra cute in this one! Their happy faces made my heart smile, especially Echo trying so hard by standing on his hind legs for so long, lol! Dodger definitely looked more cautious without his brace on. As old as he is, I'd probably just let him wear it for all hikes. It's not like he has to achieve some high performance goal. He just needs to be comfortable and happy. The brace gives him support, protection, and confidence!
You could help Dodger stay cool on these hot days by shaving his throat (just the underside), with a clippers, not a razor (shorten the hair, but don't remove it all, lol). Removing that thick fur over his jugular will cool the blood a little as it goes through, helping him regulate his body temp. Don't shave the top of his neck though 'cause he'd get a sunburn. LOL
I'm curious about all the bones. Killed by a fire? Or some farmer's dumping ground for dead cows? That wire fence should really have ribbons tied to it to make it more visible. Large animals (and humans) could come running through there and not see it and clothesline themselves on it! I did that once on a cable...long story...suffice it to say, when I came to I looked like I'd been beat up and strangled. LOL

I did clean up some of it. But mostly some other campers did it. I drove into town and when I got back they had picked up a lot of the big stuff. I thought I was the only one that noticed it. But most campers are good like that.
If I were to guess, your surprise is that you bought some land? That would be fun to watch too! Just about anything you do would be okay. You remind me of a brother I never had. If you went into the automotive repair business, you might lose my interest 😅
I use to have an RV (class C) but sold it several years ago. I have since been trying to get another one. A truck camper this time. Maybe will catch up with you one day. 🤗♌️

Yes. It’s not something I share in my videos only because I personally don’t like it when other channels do that. You will see my friends pop up every once in awhile, though. 🌵🌲
We all have to follow our hearts; but, yeah, one of my favorite vanlifer's started spending a lot of time setting up his shop. I stopped watching ... and watch you guys instead! And I think you are right, at some point you are going to have too many comments to read/reply to; working on new content makes sense to me, and I for one wouldn't be at all put-off by that.

It makes me sad. I enjoyed spending time watching initially. Two last videos....advertising Patreon constantly. No R V tour. No more going to town or driving to other locales like museums, rivers, or mountains. You know...small day trips. I apologize..I wish you well with Patreon.
All of that cost a lot of money. I don’t blame him because making CZcams videos is hard to do and a full time job. I know because I have made CZcams videos myself and believe me it is not easy. I watch multiple channels. If I donated to each one I would be spending hundreds of dollars a month. I pay I think 28 for the family plan now. That goes into goggles pocket. Google should pay its influencers more! In my opinion Google is the problem because that's where the $ are.
