I apologize for a few mistakes. First, I thought maybe, you could double down after hitting in older versions of blackjack from the 1800s. I've found no evidence of this upon research, only in variations such as Spanish 21. So no, you cannot double down after hitting. Second, I made a couple mistakes in my payouts. Regardless, I hope you enjoy. ;)

A nice, relaxing blackjack video on this windy, rainy day. The bit of blackjack history and short tutorial at the beginning was a nice touch.
the way you deal cards has got to be the best thing ever, with the part when you let the card flick off of your finger before setting it down
Ahhhh, the good ole "can we get a room for our guest?" bit! The way they make their money back, may it shock you how that works. If you stay and play and buy more stuff, if they can make back even a FRACTION of what they've lost from your massive winning streak, the house wins again. Even if you take that room, buy as little as possible, stop playing, enjoy the room then leave. The house can afford the loss much as they hate it. ;o)

Not 600$ but 400$. He took the 400$ bet and an extra 100$ and gave us 500$ in return, he never gave us the 400$ we won.

ok, maybe someone can help me here? at 15:15 "we" decide to double down and bet 200 + 200, but we only get the same 400 in summary back that we just bet? why would anyone go for that, it doesn't make sense to me or am i missing/misunderstanding something here? i would love to know... ^^'
He made a mistake you should have made 400
So the player should've gotten the 400 chips he bet plus a 500 chip, then the player would've give him a 100 chip in return. This would've squared away the player and the house. Obviously, this didn't happen in the role-play. There are two ways of seeing it. Either he simply made a mistake while role playing, or dude scammed the imaginary player because he was doing too good. You're not the only one who noticed this. In real life, don't let the dealer touch your chips so liberally.
