So there is a Korean drama called Cafe Minamdang, one of the characters had this thing. It seemed like a dog training clicker, it took me some effort to figure out what it actually was.
Do you know how to remove the button. Mines stopped clicking but it came with replacement parts.

Yes you can they sell luminous ones to they’re only 8mm and can be swapped out

Hi. That warping as you put it is a stroboscopic effect and IS visible with "regular vision". en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stroboscopic_effect
