As a Havik main I love watching Havik gameplay, but man, his tier really shows. As a Havik player, you straight up need to outplay your opponent.

I wish Havik didn't feel clunky/restricted in his combo routes
real shit tho. He's gotta work so hard just to do half the damage of Li Mei who can armored launch while flying across the screen lol meanwhile his "armored launch" is straight doodoo And his unblockable super scales but people comboing off throws with kameos can almost hit 25% damage

Just having a decent combo ender to start is already good enough. Just with that you're getting a 3-5% boost each combos. I hate that I have to use a kameo to get a hard knockdown.
So weird how they haven’t given havik any new moves or made any changes to him

Nah it was needed. Imagine getting zoned full screen 90 percent of the match and the one fatal blow combo is the game changer. what crazy is how much damage lei mei gets with no meter
@@ankleeater1721 li mei is high risk though with stubby arms bud it’s hard for her to get in. And I disagree, fatal blows should not be panic buttons
@@ankleeater1721she has to open people up for that damage without actually having strings that mix you up or specials for that either and stubby range. Why should someone get a move that does 30 something percent, has armour and is hard to punish?

Also she is Alr plus on a good chunk of her kit and get the right kameo we gonna see the same lame ass scorpion combo with her over and over. If ur a masher 9 times out of 10 u gonna get hit with a panic fatal blow bc u shouldn’t been more patient.

Some string animations look like grab animations and this would make you let go of block to tech because you cannot tech a grab with your finger still on the block button this is called an auto shimmy

I've been maining Havik for a while and I absolutely do NOT understand why people say he's the "worst in the game"
like can somebody explain it to me please. Havik is not bad lol, I wish his projectiles were faster, but worst character in the whole entire game? I don't think so
I main him too and I have no problems with him.
He’s okay but compared to the rest of the cast, he’s for-sure lacking. He’s heavily Kameo dependent, has limited confirms, no real armoured wake up, low damage and 0 mix. On top of that, he’s a bit sluggish with a lot of gaps and his projectiles aren’t even great. Mid at best. He is top 2 worst in the game because of the fact he has no identity.

@@faditahan975 his main B&B is 28 percent or more, easily hitting for over 30 with the right kameo. he has a low which helps enforce his strike/throw game. ALL of his best strings are safe. he just needs a better projectile and that's it. also it would be nice if his armored wakeup was BF2 instead of DB1 like it is now lol but he's not horrible by any means
@@ParisStephan330 facts. What I mean by no problems, I just mean that I have a problem with Havik overall. I do agree he should get another move since he does feel limited but I just make do with what I got.

15:22 min in and it's just a total beat down by Rewind, I clicked cuz I love me some Havik or any rarely used characters but bruh this was wack I mean I don't think he's even won a round or maybe 1.....

i would recommend it with Jax instead. You can use Havik's db1 to smack people out of Jax's grab in a similar fashion. With Jax you'd also get safe pressure. I didnt see this Havik use it a lot but hypothetically, he couldve been using Scorp's fK more on Havik's b22/4/throw mixup

for what type of character havik is he does a pretty good job at what he does! design is everything people gotta start looking at the design of these characters instead of frame data! if a character doesn’t do what you need to someone else will pick him up that can utilize him the correct way thats why they gave us a roster of characters you have many to pick from havik isnt bad just per say isnt your cup of tea! every character on that roster can win a tournament n i believe in due time every character on that roster will win a tournament

Good players can react to it most of the time and there's a gap you can armor through as well. It's a huge risk for a small reward, Mavado makes it useful now though. Darrius to a lesser extent also makes it good.
