This is a great idea. I'm not sure if it would make a difference, but try running one pipe up and then feed the piping from the first coil straight into the second coil, then one pipe back down to the pool. My thoughts would be to keep the water in the hot piping as long as possible for maximum absorption.

Put all heaters on the roof

Paint the inside of the pool black it will not only absorb the suns heat it will also stop heat loss. This may not look cool but it would be more efficient.

I’m not sure that’s going to work because the amount of use inside with kids jumping and the liner constantly moving that will not let the paint stay

@@don_wynn You could reline the pool with black pond liner. But if it's comfortably to swim in I wouldn't bother.

Maybe insulate the hose to reduce heat loss?

Interesting setup. How do you prevent the gravity feed solar heaters from draining the waterfall tub when the pump is not on? Did you install a control valve in the solar tubing?

Hi thanks. I hope I explained it correctly in the video. I do have to keep the pump on in order for the waterfall to receive water. So the part that runs without power is just the water heater since I leave the water pump running at all time. I did also install a separate control vavle for the two new heaters I build. 😃
