I love the cucumber gun :):):):):):)
Is it available in the US? I noticed on the site you linked that it just says it ships to all Australia.
Have you tried growing stevia? I really want to want a video on that as I can’t seem to grow them at all
@@DancingHorseFarm1 Hi and thanks so much for your comment. Yes we do ship to the US :)
You make me happy man, peace
I vote yes on doing videos that spotlight interesting products that you think may be helpful to viewers.
Make a Self Sufficient Me book of "Ultimate Gardening Dad Jokes". ha ha
Actually, I was thinking the same thing. Great Father’s Day or Christmas gift!
I agree very humorous makes for easy viewing my 9 year old thinks marks the king
@@neilomac6018 That's way cool, I think he's the king of gardening channels. I bet he's banking a lot more than he could in most jobs too.
my vegetables are now immortal
😀😀😁😁😂😂
They have ascended
Finally, someone is advertising industrial hemp
@@storednaturally1257 I know, hemp can replace so many harmful materials and it's so easy to grow, I think hemp is the first thing we should all fight for to become legal to grow world wide since it can save trees in the first place and so much more, stupid people think we're potheads but they fail to realize industrial hemp doesn't have any amount of thc, educate and spread the knowledge as much as you can!!
Thanks for all your hard work mark I’m learning heaps now , I’m new to growing my own food this year and I’m completely hooked on your channel so easy and fun to follow I’ve even gave up on tv for “self sufficient me” 👍 best of luck 🍀 to ya from the Emerald Isle 🌱🎄
Thank you for your excellent videos, Mark. I've just moved onto a 2-acre plot, and I'm so excited to set up my garden. I enjoy learning whatever you want to teach. Thanks for the practical tips and recommendations!
I truly appreciate when you review products for us. You're always completely transparent about your thoughts on each. Thank you for putting in all of the work you do for us. :)
Legend has it that he is still sitting there. Right now. Cutting up paper.
I have to say you are an honest man to make it clear about sponsorship etc...Back in the day word of mouth was the way to go without people expecting a free hand out... keep up your good honest work. Cheers
I immediately ordered the cards for kids! Thank you Mark - from Perth xx
Good day Mark, can you kindly do a video on the herbs you guys have in your homestead or garden, just an overview of what herbs you have or maybe eat.Thank you again for always giving us the best in gardening and self sufficiency.
You know my husband and I enjoyed watching your videos. Your humorous and we love it! We’ve learned a lot of technique from watching your channel. Love from California. Keep blogging 😋
Congratulations on passing one million subs! And thank you for sharing these products.
Really good video m8! Even though I live in northern Sweden I still really enjoy your videos and get really inspired. Keep up the goodhearted work! You are such a great person! What I like mostly is that you aren't so materialistic and I believe that being non-materialistic in today's world is really valuable and important! Congrats on one million subscribers, you will hit two million within a year if u keep this up!!!!!
Thanks for helping people to wake up!

I visited the hemp bag page, very curious about it. It could save you a lot of money over time. I also made sure to contact them and let them know how I heard about them. I hope they contact you or shout you out in some way!!!
@@storednaturally1257 Thank you so so much!!! I would have never heard of your product probably if Mark hadn't shown it to be honest! But its a very cool idea!!!!
Grocery stores should use hemp bags instead of plastic bags but theres a media blackout about the documentary Overpriced, ive been trying to raise awareness about this for years!
I'm always glad to see recomendations for new products. I never know, you may find something that works for me.
I think familiarizing children with their food is a lot more effective than teaching them about healthy eating. A lot of kids don't eat their vegetables because it is an unknown to them. They aren't familiar with it because they never see it. Most of them have only seen meat animals and processed food all their lives. Those are their normal. It's like putting a strange mystery dish from a foreign country in front of you and you have no idea what's in it.
My point is that we need to have the environment to support the healthy eating before it can become normal. You have to make the healthy food more convenient and recognizable than the processed and branded products. Turn parks into food forests, empty lots into community gardens. We have billions of acres of wasted space that is only growing grass when it could be producing healthy food right outside of everyone's door. You have to beat consumerism before you can deal with the symptoms it has caused.
The ruling class wants us to be unhealthy and eat like shit because it keeps big pharma rich and it makes us stupid. Your idea will never come to fruition on a nation or statewide scale, so just focus on improving your local community.
@@nickuva6508 My ideas are things people can do in their own communities. I've seen thousands of people doing this around the world. A young man is lifting his neighborhood out of the ghetto through permaculture gardening. The only thing stopping us is the willingness of others and the only way to change that is by sharing ideas which become seeds that sprout in local communities and spread throughout.
Great video. Hemp has thousands of uses. Anytime we can teach children how to eat better and where their food comes from is great. Thanks for sharing.
I love the card game!!!
Also would be great for people with Alzheimer's👍
Beautiful job and well done NURSE!!!
THANK YOU MARK for spotlighting!
Thank you so much for you comment. Yes the game has a great response from parents that care for children with Autism as well. Thanks again!
Cards for composting would be an idea!
I am a nurse also 26 years😀
That's a mighty clean fridge. 20 bucks said you cleaned it for the video 😉
Love the videos! Fyi (if you didn’t know) regarding carrots and eyesight - the Brits invented this as ‘a story’ suggesting the bombers in their planes ate carrots to improve their eyesight and hence their excellent accuracy when in fact they were hiding they had actually invented radar...! Love your work... 👍
used to use similar bags to these years ago when camping you'd wet them and hang it in a shady place for the wind and water to cool your food
I really just like to get to look at your massively beautiful garden💚but those things do seem pretty cool & anything that enhances eating more veggies Im a fan of😄
Glad you mentioned the harmful nature of plastics. Mark is an inspiration for all to live a little more sustainable lifestyle.
I appreciate videos like this. It helps to know what works and what doesn't work for others, so I can make educated choices when spending my time and money. Thank you.
The store bags seems so amazimg. As always your garden looks heavenly.
Glass jars Makaina jars I find it really good with kids who opened my fridge all the time they keep the temperature more even and ready to eat
it's better and more knowledgeable and reliable when a youtuber like you doesn't ADVERTISE a product without knowing how good or bad it is, so thank you for the honest and reliable information Mark :}
Wow your plant and veggies is very fresh and healthy food , thanks for sharing to us such informative about garden work and educational , i learn from your video a lot , Mr. Mark
Awesome! Thanks for sharing! Going to have my baby this weekend (hopefully). Something to keep in mind for when he/she gets older. 😊 And the hemp bag is a cool idea too!

I usually don't like these types of videos but I actually really liked this from you. Hope you do more!
Love from Florida! MINT HOPE YOU ARE ALWAYS THE FIRST EVERYDAY!
Hello from across the ditch in good old New Zealand mate. Just discovered your channel a couple weeks ago and I love it. Getting me really interested in gardening again. Your videos are very informative and I have learnt so much from you. Thanks mate and keep up the awesome work ( and dad jokes ) :D
Hi Mark that's a great idea the hemp bags. Keep up the good job. Love your videos.
Thanks for letting us know when u are or are not sponsored, very much big respect
Every video of yours makes the day a little bit better.
Hey mark I thought I would say thanks for the info, I didn't know that mushrooms couldn't be stored in plastic. I thought I'd let you know that your channel has inspired me to get into gardening. I remember about a year ago I was drinking lemon water after hearing it was good for soar throats. I was intrigued by that one fact and decided to research as to why that may be. In doing so I came to the conclusion that I wanted a lemon tree of my own. I later went on to watch a video about how to grow lemons from seed. Immediately my fascination grew further as I started researching other fruit, until one day. I was watching a video about how to regrow veggies from the store when your video of pineapples appeared. By the end of the day I'd watched ten of your videos I was subscribed and best of all I knew every last Australian metaphor to date. All this to say thank you for teaching me, and as far as the next generation goes I know I'm only one person but I'm 13 with an enormous passion for gardening.
Thank you once again for teaching me from the ground up everything I know to date.
PS I thought I'd recommend an interesting plant I recently found out about which is the miracle berry. Its absolutely extraordinary, as it can temporarily change your sense of taste entirely and I thought you might be interested.
That cucumber looks like fun... 🤣👍
Just wanted to say thanks for sharing everything that you do! I have diabetes and incorporate mainly vegetables into my diet and wanted to start growing most of my food.im in the suburbs growing in pots at the moment but I own acreage that I'm going to build my house on down the road. Thanks for everything man! You gave me the confidence I need!
That hemp bag looked great, I'm hoping they sell in the UK or something similar and just as ethical.
Cannabis is a surprising plant, can basically grow almost anywhere and as he said needs far, far less water.
Great content Mark !! Thanks again for your info 👍
Hi Mark,
You know what....introducing these things for educational purposes is excellent, hope you will come up with more of these.....good day
From Malaysia
I've never really 'stored' my vegetables but now I know how
Thank you so much👍
This is really great! Thank you for sharing!
Good stuff, just purchased two. One for mum and one for my sister. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thank you for the product suggestions. A bigger thank you for taking time to include all of the dad jokes. I don't think everyone would make that kind of effort.
Great tips! Love them all! Gotta get the hemp bag! Thank you so much! ❤❤❤
I appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us. Thank you.
I love my food enhancer bag. I use mine for all of our fresh homegrown veggies. I have 3 now and love them. Definitely keeps my veggies fresher for longer
Brilliant vid.....Love your stuff kick on love it..Ps thanks for the merch.
Just found your channel. Nice!! I’d like you to do a follow up - you washed all your fresh-picked veggies & put them all together in that bag. Let me know how good it worked to keep all of them fresh and how many days you can keep them in that bag?
Excited to try the hemp bag! FYI, to those watching from the US, they DO ship here (really inexpensively) - total cost in USD is around $33.
I have been using the Stored Naturally bags for about 3 years now. They are awesome!! 👍 Keeps my veg so much fresher - in particular leafy greens.
Great ideas thank you. I got some cilantro cuttings and I planted them they had roots when I got them. They went to seed very quickly. I covered the stocks and the seeds with dirt. I hope they grow.
I like watching your channel and you have a wonderful green garden ! Greetings from Milan Italy
Great information and recommendations my friend! 😊
Hey Mark, Grats on the mill subs mate and greetings from your old stomping ground at toowoomba.
I see you have carrots going to seed in the background, I'm eager to see how you harvest seed from them or even other seeding veges for next years crop. Cheers mate.
Teach young kids how to grow they’re own veggies! Thanks mark for all you do! ☺️⭐️🤙🏽😎❣️
Thank you, Mark, your videos are great! Love your channel. (I am a kid myself, 12 yrs old)) Cheers :)
Awesome. Good wishes for you from India. Carry on your great work
I think one dream of mine is just to visit you and your garden and eat a salad with you or so haha
Hello/G'day Mark, a very informative video!🤗 Keep the new products and reviews coming! The hemp bags sounds like it can save you money in the long run with your veggies!🥦🥬🥒🥕🍆🥑
Love your garden with all the nature sounds..birds and more!🦜🐦
Stay blessed and safe! 🦋11/12/20🦋
Some good stuff there mate. I find the problem with adapting to new things, such as the hemp bag, is that your average Joe isn't keen to spend 37 bucks on a bag. They are pricing themselves out of the market.
Yes, ridiculous price!
Surely Mark meant 37 CENTS per bag! $37 is for fools! Occasionally I leave my reusable bags at home and balk at paying 10 cents per plastic bag.
The problem is we are used to paying for things that use slave labor and short cuts to keep prices low. This is a quality product that pays their workers fairly and takes care of the earth, so it costs more. Sourcing things ethically will always cost more.
@@thekezzey95 true, but $39 a bag? A fool and his money are soon parted!
@@juneshannon8074 it also bloody ridiculous to complain about a broken system and then continue to support it.
My grandma always kept shelled beans and peas in a pillow case in the freezer. Works great. Cheap and easy
In recent times I've been freezing sliced mushrooms for later cooking and slicing , blanching and freezing celery also for cooking . A bunch of celery will keep fresh and crisp for much longer in the fridge if it's wrapped in paper towels and then aluminium foil , rather than plastic .
Love the bag, gotta get me some!
Mark, hey from new england. As always great info
You are good people. Keep up with your excellent vids. Cheers
I have such envy of your beautiful veggie garden
Years ago I started storing mushrooms in paper lunch bags in the fridge exactly because I was tired of them going slimey in the styrofom and plastic containers I bought them in. Now they just dry up and I can rehydrate them or just throw them in a meal dry while cooking and they absorb the moisture then. Their flavor gets more concentrated when dry too, so yummy!
I appreciate your sharing great finds with all of us and your transparency regarding rewarded promotion versus not.
Instead of a whole video about the products, perhaps just include an item in one of your regular gardening videos. For example, a video that includes you harvesting something, slip in the hemp produce saving bag...
Keep up your fabulous work, please! I have learned a lot from you and always enjoy your energy and enthusiasm 🍅🥦🥕🌶
I'm binge watching your channel right now and I reeeeeallly enjoy it!! I learn so much watching your videos and chuckle all the time because you are so funny:D much love from AUSTRIA (not Australia haha)
Nice informational video. Thanks doe sharing!
I'm glad to hear about that veggie saver bag. Every similar type of bag I've heard about has been made of recycled plastics, which is better than new plastic but in the end, it'll still last for a shorter amount of time and break up into microplastics. I just couldn't get on board with spending tens of dollars per plastic bag when it just seemed like a con. I'll be checking out the hemp one for sure.
Thank you again for a fun video! You are in shorts - we are in sweaters. LOL. I plan to look for some hemp fabric!
Really liked this video. Yes do more.
Thanks Mark, I just ordered two of the hemp bags. I'd love to combat the dryness/slime. Looking forward to their arrival (into the USA). Thanks for sharing!
Great video thanks for showing.
This guy's channel is so relaxing.
The cucumber gun dude...saw that on your Facebook. That was awesome.
Hi Mark, another great video. How about one of the birds and animals in your garden, it sounds great hearing the different birds. Thanks
Great information I will try to order for my grandkids.
Hi Sandi! Let me know if you have any other questions about the game - happy to help:)
Lovely as usual
Thank you
You know mark you genuinely deserve so much more credit taking you time to give every single comment a go you don’t see that and the update on them mate I can keep going but you know what your a true budi digiridoobudi Do true blue. Honest hearted genuine 1 in 7.5 billion 👌🏻😊 Jehovah knows ❤️ Thanks for being genuine even against our imperfections ✊🏻👍🏻
The card game is a great idea for my 11 month old daughter joslyn mate thanks again for sharing Mark
Definately don't mind the product suggestions Cobba! I've got young kids and aside from letting their imaginations go wild in the garden or bush sometimes especially around dinner time those cards would be great. And as for the bags I've been looking for something to increase the longevity of our vegis for a while now and the only interim option that I found to work was tin foil. Unfortunately I think that it is incredibly waste ful so I am very greatful for both the suggestions and will be buying both of them. Cheers!!
Excellent 👌
Thanks mate 😊
Hi Mark my Nanna used to store her fresh veggies in cotton bags/pillow cases just like this.
Definitely will look into these hemp bags. I try to pick only what we will eat in a day but thats not always possible.
Thanks fir the tips.
Love the tips
I have hemp shopping bags and some produce bags. Problem is, seems they made them too well and nobody bought any after their first purchase. The reason I say that is because they have lasted like you wouldn’t believe over 6 years. Look as good as new. But they can’t be fount anymore. Glad you showed me this
Ordered the game for grandkids
Good'ay from New York! I'm looking into that card game for children. Thanks 😊
Hey Barbara - let me know if you have any other questions about the game - happy to help :)
