- Yup, got a box today from my good friend Andrew Glazebrook. He didn't say what was in it, just that i do an unboxing. So here it is, with a few follow up videos.

Always loved this craft.
That's a fantastic gift
😉👍
Bravo! Beautiful work. ⚒️🇬🇧⚒️
What a fabulous model!
Wow😳
Beautiful piece of art work.
Wonderful! Really lovely realisation of an oft overlooked little craft. Btw, #AvonLives
Nice recreation of Blake's Flyer from the final episode of Blake's 7.
Looks like that was a fun build. The flap thing parts is from AMT’s Anakin’s Podracer. Recreation is better than the original. Very inspirational. Thanks for sharing.
Random flight program, it’s an old smugglers trick.👍
Awesome Model!
A quick look at the thumbnail, I thought this was a Y-wing rehash into a mini-rig.
He's not a bad sort, that bloke!
Instead of a wooden dowel. Why not use brass rod, just in case.
What approx scale is it ?
1/35th - Andrew converted some Tamiya military figures for it
I watched the last episode of Blakes Seven, and it didn't show the model? It only showed a closeup of the cockpit...?
Did I miss it?
There’s literally one shot of one of the flyers carrying Avon, Villa, Soolin and Danya, but it’s only quick !!
@@andrewglazebrook1585 Ha.. I may have watched it by skipping the boring bits.. I guess a model serves the story.. and even though they take ages to build. you can't linger on them for that reason alone. So basically, it was used as an establishing shot.
@@mrwoodandmrtin Bill Pearson said he built the flyer model in one day, maybe it was originally designed to be seen more but sadly not.
@@andrewglazebrook1585 Thats a shame...You could have had a really interesting establishing shot using that model.. A top view swinging to a side view. or a high speed flythrough... I guess TV budgets and schedules don't allow for creative meandering.
Very nice :)
A question for Andrew: what colour green have you used for the main body of this awesome piece of art?
I will check the tin tomorrow, I eyeballed a colour from the episode frame grab I had, it’s probably lighter than the one Bill Pearson used on his original miniature!!
Nice 👍
@@itsallpointless6501 The colour was
Plastikote Satin Leafy Rise.
@@andrewglazebrook1585 Thanks!
