Love seeing big book hauls. There Will Come a Darkness and Cursed sound interesting. Ghost of the Shadow Market, Chain of Gold, and Rebel all have such beautiful covers. And love a lot of the swag. Book Expo and BookCon sound so much fun I need to go.

I love how The Bone Houses is both horror and fantasy! A lot of fantasy novels have scary/formidable villains, but I don’t stumble across many HORROR fantasies. So happy to hear this comes out around my birthday because that means I have an excuse to treat myself to it....

i loved all the new books i hadn't heard of! this was my first year at bookcon and it wasa absolutely fantastic, so much fun!! i went to a panel with rainbow rowell, one on graphic novels, and one with debut authors two of whose books you showed (there will come a darkness and tenth girl)!
The only book I actually managed to get was Francesca Zappia’s upcoming Welcome to Addamsville and that was my most anticipated ARC for Book Con so I’m super happy. The only panel I got into was the Booksplosion panel, and my favorite moment of the day was meeting all my favs, especially you

Saints & Misfits was a really good book. It'll make you mad, but you're mad for the MC and not at them. I'm so jealous that you got to meet Rick Riordan (love the way you have your Riordan books at up, btw). He's been my favorite author for years and I hope I get the chance ce to meet him someday! Idk if you’ve ever seen the show Survivor but the rainbow pride thing is a buff and you can wear it as a headband or around your neck. Also... SUPER JEALOUS of all these amazing books. I’ve added so many of these to my Goodreads list 😂 can’t wait to get my hands on them
I'm so excited for The Liars of Mariposa Island it sounds like an incredible read and I hope that you enjoy it! Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys was such a heartfelt read I highly recommend it and am excited for her new release!

By the time i got around to an enchantment of ravens i was so burnt out on the Fae Trope (thanks sarah j maas) that i just wanted to get ravens over with, turns out i adored the fae lore in ravens far more than i ever have in mainstream ya like throne of glass. It felt far closer to traditional fae lore, which i really love. I'm sad a lot of people don't like it. And i was nearly put off the cover of thorns as well bc it's reminds me of maas's covers. I'm definitely keeping a sorcery of thorns on my tbr tho!

For future reference, Nimue in Arthurian mythology is pronounced like "nim- way". I was so excited when I saw the description for Cursed on Netflix, and had no idea it was an adaptation! Definitely excited to pick up the book now.

The rainbow flag item looks like a neck tube scarf. I sometimes use them in Winter when it's cold to pull up over my face or keep it around the neck (kind of acts like a turtleneck)
