Timely message for me today. Just this morning I had a conversation with my husband about how discouraged I was feeling about not seeing the results yet of a lot of hard, persistent work. He told me I must stay patient and positive, to keep the enthusiasm and the spirit. And then I found this podcast waiting for me in my notifications. I am taking many useful messages from this into my day. Including: "I am resilient, steadfast, and immune to discouragement." "My goals are worth every effort." "My determination is stronger than any doubt." "Every setback is a setup for a comeback." So, I will move forward in this day and let nothing deter me. Thanks again, Brian. 💪

I have learned to my surprise, from Louise Hay, Ho’oponopono, and other teachers, that by raising one’s self esteem, forgiving yourself and more importantly, loving yourself and truly feeling grateful, negativity dissipates and is replaced by love for life. Love is truly the most power force in the universe. Giving up? The thought doesn’t cross my mind. Instead, joy and excitement attracts abundance and miracles.
The past has seen many opportunities and beginnings being avoided and abandoned due to immense self-doubt, fear of failure and lack of persistance. This has resulted in many moments of despair and the acceptance of being limited. Recently i have found myself unsure and had a feeling of near terror to get up and take steps of starting again. Going deep into every limiting thought I've ever had or criticsm I've heard and then cast them out. Everything deters me. It's fear. Fear of failure and success. I'm so tired of it. Of all of it. I have a book I started writing and am about halfway through with. Any excuse to not work on it is used. After hearing this, I did manage to write another page or two, but honestly, it's like pulling teeth. I put my whole heart into writing and it's the hardest thing to put myself out there. I've told myself I don't have to publish it but I want to. I'm so sick of fighting myself to write every word. It has become a constant battle with myself. 😮
