- American League 5 at National League, 4, F: Ichiro Suzuki hit the first inside-the-park homer in All-Star history and had three hits en route to the All-Star MVP award. Tampa Bay's Carl Crawford and Cleveland's Victor Martinez also homered to help extend the AL's unbeaten streak to 11 games -- 10 victories and one tie in 2002.

If Ichiro would have played for the Mariners starting in '95 we would had at least 3 world series championships, and he'd be known as the greatest Mariner of all-time.
Considering that he didn't come to the MLB until his age 27 season, and is still regarded as one of the very best ever to play in the MLB, I would think that if he came to the MLB that early (1995 would have been his age 21 season) that he would be regarded as the very best baseball player, in any league, of all time.

One thing I've always noticed about Ichiro is that he always laid his bat down on the ground he almost never tossed it away.

Summer of 07 I was 12 going on 13 years old. Me and my dad watched this game while we were staying in a hotel during the USSSA 12u World Series. We finished runner up against a team from way down in Florida.

RIP to your father. It's the memories we will cherish forever.. I was 15 when my dad and I went to this game. He's now fighting cancer and Im hoping he can make it through but no matter the outcome, the memories will stay for as long as i live.
