This BS where a woman can lie to a man then the man has to pay for the child even if proven the child isn't his should be illegal. Where I live if your name is on the birth certificate and you prove the child isn't your child tough shit you still pay til the child is 18 how is that even legal. To avoid all this BS it should just be mandatory that a paternity test is done before the father is put on the birth certificate regardless of what the mother or father says and if the child isn't the mans but he wants to be on the certificate anyway that's on him but it should be mandatory that the test is done before any name is put in the father slot of the birth certificate. I remember a story about a man getting "his" child paternity tested behind the mother's back and he got in trouble and still has to pay for the mother's infidelity it's such bullshit. It's easy for women every woman knows that their child is theirs (unless it's a switched-at-birth situation rare but possible) yet men are not afforded that luxury there should be mandatory testing regardless of what anyone says that way paternity is established at birth and infidelity can be ruled out before a man has his entire life crushed.

Anyone reading this and going through the same drama, you will need a little will power and heartlessness, but let them pin the paternity on you, gather evidence that they were aware that you were not the parent and that they were pinning it on you, let the child be born, and then sue them for paternity fraud.
This guy was too nice and too trusting. It's probably one of the reasons his girlfriend started cheating on him in the first place, sadly. It seems like he wasn't exciting enough or, apparently, wealthy enough and famous enough for her to stick around. The fact that he was seriously willing to take her back is also surprising, maybe as a friend with benefits, but definitely not for a serious relationship, that boat should have sailed long ago.

Why leave a pregnant woman that is dependent on you, it may be someone else’s baby but that baby is defenceless, at least call child protection services and if you really cared, you’d at least helped her through the pregnancy and then tell the truth at a later stage when she is less vulnerable
