it ain't only WOKE (although that is part of that), minorities/women/whatever buzzword having rights is an objectively good thing, its when they are given positions based only on the color of their skin or being gay or being neurodiverse (I can talk on that, I am on the spectrum myself) or disabled that it becomes a problem, it is a variety of problems, idiotic politicians who are either too dang conservative for their own good or too liberal for their own good with nearly nothing in between, the US education system being terrible (even that ain't entirely the education system's fault, a good chunk of it is parents and/or students who don't care), the chinese plot that is tik tok (yeah we shouldn't have allowed it to release in the US in the first place), housing being totally through the roof, misinformation and conspiracy theories being so prevalent (I have had to debunk flat earthers literally hundreds of times, yes people still believe that the earth is flat in 2024 despite being disproven for literally over 2,000 years), science deniers going from a minority that is only in rural parts of the US to a sizable portion of the US population, people stealing shit so they can get their next hit of drugs and not getting put in jail for stealing because it was less than a $950 (and even when they do steal more than $950 they almost never get in trouble for it and never for all that long).
My family was hunted down by Communists, and for years they suffered. Children died, starvation was constant, and it was only Gods mercy which saved them.
