I didn’t want “A Doll Distorted” to end! Seriously! Loved all but that was my fave! The editing, color, all so artistic! Acting was spot on!! I really should be sleeping…but uh, addicted. Good job!!!

Imagine something that terrifying coming into your room, and you can't escape, completely paralyzed with fear and there's nothing you can do about it.

Yup. Sleep paralysis is a tough one. I find if I concentrate on moving just my big toe (left one), it usually snaps me out of it.

Smile - Smile was truly scary which gives the message that the girl never tries to overcome the depression which leads her to despair. Smile horror movie is quiet similar to the short movie Laura Can't sleep. Thank you ALTER.
The Rule of three - Already watched this and I too suffered such kind of rule in my past and still recovering.
Coil - watched this one as well, and it show how the girl take control over her anxiety by accepting it and hiding it within her.
Insecticide - This short is quite complex which tells us kind of a message of a girl who lives alone and suffer from her loneliness.
A doll distorted - this movie was truly scary which made me think that the girl killed her husband due to her haphephobia and kept him in pieces in her freezer due to his lack of understanding and negligence. When she buys her a doll and suffers her guilt over killing her husband.
Stories of the subconscious mind - This was truly awesome and needs a feature film. It's kind of like Jennifer Lopez movie The Cell.
I think insecticide is actually about germophobia - she's washing everything (even her body) with bleach, but still feels like it's not enough so she literally quarantines herself. It depicts her fear of dirt in the monster she sees.

Trying to control over ocd is impossible. The way out is to learn how to be comfortable feeling fear, to get use to this feeling without running away to coping mechanisms. Taking control by actually acknowledging you can't control everything. There is very little that you actually can control, and it's fine. It's like that for everybody.
I like how in this short the girl is afraid of fear itself, not of an actual existing danger. It describes ocd maybe even too well.

I believe it's a visual representation of an anxiety disorder. Maybe specifically a social anxiety disorder. she's trying really hard to be there for her friend, but everything seems to be getting in the way.

I didn't get it at first but this makes a lot of sense actually.. I'm someone with a lot of anxiety and sometimes it takes A LOT of effort to pick up a phone call .. honestly , even the feeling of something crushing you from the inside is not an exaggeration.

Honestly some of these have a lot of potential and the acting is really great but it's just the format is a little distracting to me. Like the one with the doll, that really seemed like a 9 inch nails music video the whole time. It was kind of hard to keep up with the storyline

The second story was a RIP off of THE STRANGERS
The strangers is inspired by an unsolved true crime story so everything is a rip off then. U can't make NEW it isn't possible everything has been written already.
Why? Because there were 3 killers? Other than that there are no similarities
Coil and Insecticide were the two worst of the series of films. A Doll Distorted was over the top!!!
