Ok, tried this process last night and I almost finished five designs in two hours... Thing is, I i hadn't done mockups (and i still need to), I extract the white background images from Printify as I like to show the customer exactly what they're getting, and I was documenting my approach. I'll get quicker 👍 Great tip on publishing them Hidden in Etsy, I'm also using Etsy's Quick Edit tool to batch edit each items tags, which is very useful. Thank you for the videos, Mandy 👍
Amazing step-by-step tutorials! Thank you! I am wondering if you will be doing any tutorials on the Hello Custom Personalization Tool by Stephen Chin. You go into such depth with your tutorials, so I am hoping you will consider it. I am interested in learning how to use it with these tutorials. No one else has really done it in depth so far. If you do, I would wait a few weeks as they tweak the tool some more.

Mandy, what are your thoughts on seller's using the same phrase as another seller? For instance, I see lots of designs with the same phrase on multiple shop listings owned by different sellers, ie. "I don't need a good lawyer, I raised one", or they may just change it to say, "I don't need a good accountant, I raised one", and maybe they took it a step further and made the font letters different, colored and curved, is that still considered copying or is this considered "making it your own"? Some say, find a best seller phrase in the teacher niche, and use that saying in the nurse niche, etc. Just wondering at what point are we making it our own versus copying.

Additional Time saver on Mockups: In Printify, if you unclick "mockups" at the bottom, it will only send the mockup you have selected as your thumbnail from above to Etsy. I have never had Printify send a listing without a mockup. Saves a small amount of time to unclick mockup below instead of all the mockup possibilities above and saves you the time drain that happens if you forget to uncheck all the mockup possibilities above.
Yep, just remember that if you’re working in batches like I am and not finishing the listing immediately in Etsy, I need to leave one set of mockups in there so that I know which design it is when I get to Etsy. I’ve made the mistake of unchecking them in this particular process and then had no clue which design they were when I got to Etsy 😅
I came to share the same tip -
Mandy -- if you unclick the mockups button, it will always send over one mockup, so you'll be fine. I always upload in batches, too, and this works! It is a huge time saver to not have to go through and unclick all those mockups at the top of the page. You've saved me so much time in Canva, have to share this one with you! Thanks for your videos!
That’s good to know! They must have updated it - last time I tried doing it that way I had a whole batch of listings and I had no idea which design they were because no images came over, so that’s why I started leaving one checked 😅 Thanks for confirming!!

I have a question regarding the Variant Visibility, is it not a good idea to select instead -> Show variants as available and out of stock variants as "sold out"? This way the customer won't select a color not in stock or at least will know it will be late?

Here, I have carefully watched this video several times and have a question.
I saw that you matched the key words of TILES for each different design.
I understand that this approach is more specific for targeting niche customer groups, but at the same time, I also feel that after doing so many different variable titles and list designs in bulk, how about doing AB test listings?
I think if different designs are combined with different titles, there will be a bit of confusion, which makes it difficult for me.
Can Mandy share this view and how to operate it in the next video?

I'm loving these tutorials, I'm so happy I found your channel!! I love how efficient you are with pockets of time, I find I'm all over the place so this is very helpful. I have a question about how you size your images in printify, do you customers complain when Swift or Monster scales down the design on shirts to a smaller graphic? I noticed your shirt designs were about 13 inches wide - that's pretty big for a Large sweatshirt and when scaled down would be really small, do you ever get complaints? I adjust each order according to the size a customer orders but it takes a good chunk of time when I get a lot of orders, how do you manage or do you not worry about it - or do your customers not complain if they get a too big or too small design? I know the industry standard is 11 inches for all sizes but there is no way to achieve that when Swift and Monster scale for different sizes unless you manually size each design per order, what are your thoughts? You can definitely just change it on Etsy (their bulk edit drop-down works well for that) 😊

Does anybody or Mandy know the pros/cons to 1) publish on the Printify side but "Hide in Store" vs 2) just "Save to Drafts" and use the SKU numbers from it on the Etsy side?
Hi Mandy. I've discovered we don't have to deselect all the mockups in Printify before publishing (hidden). When you turn off the mockups check box at the bottom of the page, it will automatically only use the first mockup.
You are correct! That was a newer update in Printify that I have learned about since publishing this video. It makes things even faster now! 😁

Yes! In fact I recommend it since the Printify mockups are not great for conversions on Etsy. Just make sure they are an accurate representation of the product you are selling (and I do not recommend AI mockups) 😊

Is the design the same size on every size shirt? When I’m making shirts with my vinyl designs I’m adjusting the size of the design to the size of the shirt.
I have a question about using multiple print providers through printify. If you were to look at using 3 for example, UK, USA and Canada based options would you create this as 1 listing on etsy then have 3 drafts in printify and just pull the orders through manually, selecting the appropriate print provider based on the delivery location?
Typically I start with one main listing in Printify, and then set up the shipping address profile in Etsy with the corresponding countries/shipping costs. Then if/when an international order comes in, I duplicate the product on the Printify side, replace the provider based on the delivery location, and edit the order to swap them out. Just make sure your processing in Printify is set to manual, not automatic. You could definitely have the drafts ready to go as you mentioned as well, I just don’t get as many international orders so I just start with the one 😊

Even with all this Etsy stuff going on I should use other mock ups than printify?
Yes - Printify and others have confirmed with Etsy that other mockups are allowed as long as they are an accurate representation of the product. I don’t recommend AI mockups though since most of them do not accurately represent the actual product and can cause problems.

If you are printing on black or dark colored sweatshirts, how can you ensure that the color saturation is adequate or acceptable?
