    This is a great video to you to make after the TT video. Even though I've been here for a bit, I'm sure this will be a great introduction for others.

    Great idea, just what I needed! I’ve done similar things to improve my programming. Just a suggestion: it would be helpful to explain why a phone number is needed during signup and to share a privacy policy. It’s not about trust, but it would make people like me feel more comfortable.

    • @TooTallToby
      @TooTallToby  Před 23 dny +2

      Sure - We use the phone number for 2FA - as a security protocol. Helps stop bots and also helps stop hackers.
      I'm not the infosec expert on the team - but that's why we ask for it.

      @@TooTallToby Great. Thanks for clearing that up.
      You might want to check with your team on its implementation as it, as of writing this comment, does not require 2FA code at login if I use a brand new device, that never seen the site before. Something I would expect it to do. Am I right in assuming that its only purpose is for 2FA and not used or shared in anyway? I don’t mind personally, but it’s not mentioned anywhere so thought best to ask in case someone else wondered.
      Thanks for a great site and great work!

    If youre open to it, you should add blender in there. I would love to compete with it.
    I know its not traditional CAD software, but it gets the job done and i can calculate mass in the same way.

      We would LOVE to see some BLENDER users in the competitions! All CAD are welcome! We already have some plasticity users, and that's got some similar workflows to BLENDER!

      @TooTallToby that's awesome
      I just didn't see it in the dropdowm of software on the site so I assumed it wasn't alright!

    Hello, I found your channel recently but I like it very much and I am a beginner in the world of 3D modeling. I would like to choose a good, non-demotivating direction of study and I would like to ask you this question ;) what is, in your opinion, the best way to learn 3D modeling? or watching tutorials and doing the same things as the author, or maybe creating things that we have at our fingertips that we can touch, turn and measure, then creating models from photos or drawings, and finally coming up with our own project and creating it?? Or maybe you have another idea, I would be grateful for your advice :)

    • @TooTallToby

      Sure - what CAD system are you using to learn?

      thank you very much for the link :) I will definitely check it out because thanks to it I will learn something new :) but what I'm more interested in is what way of learning would be best to develop and improve my skills :) it's about the first comment and unless you have something to add from yourself :) I already know the basics and I know how the function works, now I would like to go to a higher level :)
