That's something that no one does online

I used to drill new team-mates in Dust 514 and my biggest pet peeve in shooters in people walking down the center of the hallway and how they check corners.
If you're walking down the center of a hallway, I can't shoot past you. Pick left or right, I'll take the other side. That way we can both shoot. If you're on the left side of the hallway, you need to be look right and vice versa. Your field of view is greater that way as you can see into doors on the opposite side much better than doors on your side. Walking down a hall single file just gets everyone killed and if you're spaced out the enemy has a harder time trying to tag both of you. There is zero advantage to going single file down center lane.
The same goes for corners. If you're on a left hand corner, you need to sweep from right to left AND WALK ACROSS to the other side as you sweep left. Your shoulders/body stick out farther than you can see.
Number #1 reason people die in FPS games is because they don't do this shit and they get shot for stupid, stupid reasons.
Except for clans

For those of you who don't know, the guy on the left is Jason Lilley. He was portrayed in the TV series Generation Kill, and was the dude who was filming everything. He won the Silver Star for responding to an ambush that killed Capt. Brent Morel. After a lengthy service in the Marines, he went on to work for the state dept. and CIA (or some other 3-letter agency, maybe DIA--he did not elaborate). He now is a part of the youtube channel Savage Actual. Gameology probably doesn't like it when people promote other channels here but who cares lol. They run an interesting channel.

@@theslasherof78 nuking Japanese civilians is a perfect example.

Lance Mitchell just so you know this was done by a SWAT team or a actual military team it was done by professionals that might be why it’s so hyper realistic

0:49 I agree with you guys, I always used to and still really wish they had included strafing while interacting with your teammates.
Damn this reaction gave me goosebumps, when you play any shooter game you probably shoot a body on the head just for fun but to have actual marines say that, that's what they really do to make sure a bad guy stays down just gives me chills.
The problem with games is that the gun is pointed where your eyes are, so unless you watch the floor constantly, you will point the gun towards friendlies.
They should add an auto down aim when aiming at or sweeping your teammate's
That’s where VR call of duty is going to be the next one in realism. The gun is decoupled from your face, you can peek around corners and blind fire.
@@TIEVR This could still be implemented in the next CoD. This was also probably a potential feature, but CoD isn't a military sim or tactical shooter, so mechanics like that are pretty useless. It still could've been in the campaign tho.
they should have added a system like battlefield 4 campaign where if you're not anticipating enemy threats you're pointing your gun down and nothing can change that
in half-life 2, whenever u point gun at friendlies it automatically points down .. those who played knows it. not very efficient but it happens...

They aren’t marines. After searching on MOL the official site for the marine corps that can find every military member that is retired and in the service currently. They do not appear in there this is Stolen valor
Pineapple Pablo with confidence
@@3ditHD I feel it would be very careless to have your spec ops units members just casually displayed on a military page
@Oh Hello Bruh look at this kid pretending to be edgy.
3:00 huge flashback for the guy on the right side
While reading the novel "The Terminal List", the author did a Preface at the very start where he explained that he had to turn in his work to the Department of Defense for review before it could be published, due to his service as a Navy SEAL. I wonder if something similar is done with the games and movies.
Marine: “you have to trust your teammates”
“good, that’s one less loose end” PTSD kicking in
From the realistic of this part, I think these two guys might be reminded of their times in war.
Look at the right guy he almost cried
Especially the part when the mother and baby came up, you can tell right on their faces they went through that situation many times before.
AND their war crimes
Z00MZoom182 War crimes? How does a soldier commit a war crime? They only follow orders. A country’s leader is the one responsible for the war crime, you oblivious moron.
@@Z00MZoom182 dude stfu
This was so cool.
But I can’t imagine doing a room clearing in real life. I have so much respect for the armed forces, because those choices that I find hard in video games(knowing who to leave and who to shoot) would be so much harder irl. They have to make some tough calls.
Yeah u have respect for the armed forces who kill innocents
Good job us terrorism
They dont choose btw
They do whatever their command order them
No matter to kill aj infant, a woman or to genocide entire natives

Cool review. To point out what he said about guys in the rear securing people, this video doesn’t show, but they actually secure them also. I go through the games pretty slow looking for that type of ish and they covered pretty well in this game. Even in the mission before when the lady has the baby the operator next to him, if you look at him, is at the high ready but using his non shooting hand to signal her to stay calm.
If you want to know where these 2 are now, they both have a channel called Savage actual
Its tits!
the aspect ratio is still the same but look on the bright side guys, there's 4k now!
PLEASE MAKE MORE VIDS WITH THESE GUYS THEY'RE BADASS AND ENTERTAINING AS HELL
Chicken Nugget Scoon are they?
@@mayhemlolz yes do u disagree
Chicken Nugget Scoon lol yea actually, I feel like I could go to basic and give u the same commentary.

Marines : that’s realistic
Russian Soldiers : shoot 100 rounds just to be sure
Gotta be sure he's dead right? :D

Where is that claim from?
Modern Warfare 1,2&3 flashback
hmmm no i think is still alive
I wish there was a button to put weapons low ready and stuff for the campaign just for the ones that go nuts about flagging and different ways to just make it to not flag your teammate
