I am fairly new to Teddy Swims. Just discovered him last year. Have heard about 5 songs by him now. I really enjoy his voice & the emotion he brings. He does a nice version of Bonnie Raitt's song "I Can't Make You Love Me" & Shania Twain's song "Your Still The One". Apparently his real name is Jaten Dimsdale. "Swims” is an acronym for “Someone Who Isn’t Me Sometimes”.

I love me some Teddie Swims!!!! He has done a lot of covers which are all very good but he also has now released originals. Do not judge a book by it's cover. I never get tired of watching first time reactors.....you didn't disappoint.

There's another guy who will blow you away called Allen Stone, he & Teddy are buddies and have done some stuff together. Check out their cover of Sarah's Smile (Hall & Oates). I'm not sure if there's copyright issues with Allen's solo stuff, but if you can check out his Bob Marley cover of 'Is this Love' the live at Bonnaroo version is epic. His 'Consider Me' is also fab. I think you'll also appreciate an Aussie band called The Teskey Brothers, 'Hold Me' is a good one to start, but if you really want to be blown away watch 'Rain' (the Color Show version), it's only Josh Teskey on that one, but he'll blow your socks off!!
