Great setup! I can't wait to see your first job with it.

It’s always a good day when you get new tools.

This one has been on the list for a while! Glad I finally have it to bend up odd ball flashings and help in the remod world of old houses.

Bought the same set up. Still waiting on the wheels for the snap stand. Maybe they will come in by Christmas.

Your much better off with your brake mounted solid in at least a 12’ cargo trailer. Then build at least a 24” wide self directly above the brake, pad it with 1/4” foam board or thin carpet and do your unrolling and layout measurements there. Gently slide the metal directly down into the brake. Trust me, nothing works better on a windy or rainy or just plain hot bright day! Gary, in Michigan. Siding contractor here since 1972...... Blessings and good fortunes!

Well my 16’ trailer is pretty full so the snap stand will have to do. Lucky for me I’m a general contractor so it’s not a tool I have to use day in and day out like yourself. I generally use it for odd ball jobs so it’s better for me to have it on the snap stand where it’s not taking up precious space in the trailer. If I did use it more often I would definitely find a permanent home for it.

Always hated the side winder… puts too many marks on flat stock..

I can’t complain. I haven’t had too many issues and we’ve worked with some darker colors that show every single scratch. What’s your preferred method?
