    im sure a decision is going to be made very soon on the tony mowbray situation.Especially when we are having a massive rebuild and players need to know their situation and new players coming in need to know who their manager is going to be.If tony is not up for it they have to act soon to get Rosenior before he goes elsewhere.

    i said on your post this will be a great move only if his heart is in it and he wants to drop down for a season hull fucked up getting rid of him we could build a nice team with him as manger he's also pretty young for a manger if i remember right so could work out for both us and him

  • @theultimateblindmaster8570

    Here’s an idea, rather than bringing Liam Rosenior in, what if the owners brought in Kieran McKenna from Ipswich. Personally, this would be a very good move as he knows what it takes to get from league one, to the championship and maybe into the prem, as these owners could provide him with the packing that he needs.

    Looks like we could he heading for another Birmingham City fuckup - as far as football is concerned, our owners seem to be as bad and their predecessors - lack of proper communication, conflicting reports, and then the mysterious and worrying factor COOK

    I blame the club for not being clear on what the situation is , they have been very guarded in the statements they release and the longer the situation goes on the more the rumour mill will churn and gather pace
    As mentioned Mr Mowbrays recover time will be longer than the 6 to 8 weeks first published and i think even Mark Venus expected him back sooner rather than later as per his media interviews before and after the games he took charge
    Things have obviously been amplified by the relegation and the fact that the Vile have done so well this season , so as it stands we have no clue who will be making the decisions regarding , players , contracts , signings etc
    Need a statment ASAP please BCFC ,

      That's so true we could very well start the season mangerless an player less , but I suppose the owners have had or I very much hope a deep meaningful conversation with Mr Mowbray

  • @philspilsbury66

    The issue for me is that the club has no leader at the moment. The season has ended, we need to decide who we retain or not and we need to be targeting new players. This can't all be done by Gardner, we need the manager's input. Rotherham have already landed one of the best strikers in League One over the past few seasons and they got him for free whilst we sit on our hands. Clearly, Mowbray did not have a routine medical treatment with a defined outcome in terms of time as you might from a broken arm or hernia or something else he'd have been back in April which is what the club initially said would happen. 6-8 weeks they said in February. We really need the club to address this immediately. If it is true and they are drawing up a list "just in case" then that suggests Mowbray's return date is still totally unknown. I wish the guy well but we just got relegated so we need a leader in place like tomorrow. A manager coming in just in time for pre-season is too late. KRO

      @philspilsbury66 Před 21 dnem +1

      I think the silence from the club will drive speculation and the club being linked to two different managers in the same week further fuels that. What ever is happening we need a manager in place today really else we can't rebuild.

    • @bernardm2528
      @bernardm2528 Před 21 dnem

      @@philspilsbury66 Exactly. Rosenior isn't that good. Hull supporters wanted him sacked at Christmas. Rowett probably is the best choice, but they dismissed having him. 11 points from 8 games is about 63 points not bad. Even though it was the owner's own fault for not getting him in instead of unproven Venus. Probably end up with Paul Robinson or Ashley Cole unproven manager which might be ok???? I think we should have a poll how many managers will we have this season if Tony doesn't return, but I think he will. Or maybe only available by late Autumn?
      Manager poll 1
      2 to 3
      4 to 6

      Reported Sunderland interest?
      However if as reported here within 24 hours now a decision and Tony doesn't come back. Then if offered to Liam he would choose us, division 1 Is an easy job to get us promotion and he then looks good. Sunderland is a really tough job only desperate managers would take that, even with the attraction of Roker park.
      Other news is Everton are considering Rooney, based on his success with us, perhaps not.

    This has to be sorted ASAP otherwise it could be a relegation battle. You have to be prepared or you’re preparing to fail. That is BCFC all over. I wish TM well but clearly he cannot return so we need a new manager in now to sort out the squad get new players etc etc. This whole thing is unpalatable, unnecessary, and an unmitigated mess
