Casually forgetting how hard owl flopped. The game is hyping up an esports scene because esports games last longer with higher concurrent player counts. Don't kid yourself that they are doing it for the good of the players, MarvelMeatRider

Nice video! I can't wait to play the beta soon, but I will say that it's kinda difficult to see what is going on in these clips.
The game is definitely more readable when you're playing it, but I guess in spectator mode with the team colors it makes it kinda hard

Alpha was polished as hell. Beta is likely to be more so. I wouldn't doubt full release at MOST being in November. At least being in September.

Any1 else instantly think about the old Halo2/3 MLG Top10 plays / the old days when seeing this? This is really exciting stuff for the potential of competitive for Marvel Rivals! Let's not forget this is Marvel which has a massive casual audience for spectating!
{and I hope they dial in on that crowd with PVE/Story/ect style content with this game one day as well. It would definitely POP off and really kinda be the icing on the cake for it's rivals ;3}

I hope the devs take notes about why no one playing Peni or Hulk in high ranked matches ...both are so bad and so boring to play ..especially Peni .. all of her abilities are boring and don't feel impactful at all ..the ultimate is just so ugly and lame plus most of the time its ( press Q to die ) ..her swings are so ugly and awkward ..she is a "spider" character why can't she swing like Venom or spider man? plus she has 0 survivability .. you spend the match shooting webs on the floor to hopefully counter some dive comps..its just a lame character design please give her an overhaul rework..

Ah, the tournament myself and my teammates missed out on getting into because the stipulation that all team members needed to confirm entry was not specified, so upon initial registration we believed we were entered, and then when tournament entries were reopened this was only communicated via a Discord post instead of being widely announced across all social media.
Sheeesh, would love to see another tournament but on EU this time!

Since the game is not for Play 4 and Xbox One S, there are other very good options: Warzone, Fall Guys, Rocket League, Paladins, Multiversus, Brawhalla, Rogue Company, etc.
So boring seeing the same setups on both teams every match... Strange and Groot are so busted they're too broken not to use together. Not to mention it is just Hela in every single match on both sides.

Yea, they have a tournament system built into the game, so there will constantly be tournaments running. This was the first one that non developers and friends/family were able to join in on.

Yes, there were Alpha Tournaments because they have a tournament system within the game itself. There will be Beta tournaments as well once that launches next week and there will be ongoing tournaments from then on out as well.
