Whoa! I’m impressed you guys managed to get through that many bars! I’ve had a few of these when I went to the UK a few years ago, and there are definitely some good ones in that bunch you tried! That was so nice of you Vasyear to send all of those!
Most of these you can get here in Australia. With the flakes they’re usually either stuck in ice cream cone or crushed and put on as a topper on cakes (at least in my experience). Picnics are awesome. Violet crumble is the Aussie version of a crunchie, they’re actually made in my state (South Australia). We actually have a lot of great confectionery made here.
I’ve had most of these. All are pretty good. I found ume potato chips at our Japanese grocery the other day. I like them but I also love salt & vinegar chips. Oh, and I believe Daim is pronounced like the American currency “dime”
With the flakes, one of the most popular ways to eat them is stuck in a cone of soft-serve ice cream. It is called a 99. Ususally sold by icecream vans.
An interesting assortment of chocolate bars. I've only ever had Flake and Snickers. I would like to try Picnic and Lion...maybe the one that tasted like rose water too. The texture sounded different.
So being here in Eng i've obviously had all of these. Didn't surprise me that Picnic was popular with you all as nutty bars are so popular in the US. Flake is actually my fave and what i would go for here. It was always marketed as very indulgent thw way it crumbles and melts in the tongue, but you are right commonly served in ice cream cones which are then called a 99
When the chocolate separates like it did with the snickers, it's called a "bloom" the color and taste will change but it's not harmful or anything like that.
The Daim (used to be Dajm) is usually pronounced "dime", obviously not as funny though. It's Swedish and the center part seems to be inspired by traditional Swedish christmas candy. Very unlikely to be the oldest on the table but it's been around for many years now.
Yeah, not as fun. But it was tasty ---and interesting. The Skor bar we were comparing it to kinda sounds like it may have been Sweden influenced too...👍
It's a pleasure to help and I'd love to be able to send different lemonades (sodas) to see if they are different from what you had but i doubt I can send them but perhaps some hot sauces
Thanks, but you've sent plenty already. And I still do have some hot sauces that you sent ---I'll need to try them as soon as Aaron is ready enough for a hot sauce video again... ;)
My all time fave as well, we pay through our teeth here in South Africa cause they are imported. Was absolutely hilarious watching them eat it for the 1st time, grape 🍇? 😂 It is rose flavour, she was correct.
@@bentobuster6995Yip, made by Cadbury now, they still call it Fry's Turkish Delight, Fry & Sons merged with Cadbury in 1919. Cadbury chocs are great in general! 🍫
Awesome taste test we have the Picnic bar here I love it but my least favorite is the Turkish Delight which we have here too, not a fan of that at all!!!!
yay so glad to see jd again!! Love seeing him in the videos 🥰
Yes! Always good when he can join us!👍
Love the idea of rolling the dice to choose the bars.
We get together to play games so it was only fitting ;)
That's a lot of chocolate. Good thing you shared.
Yes!👍

I know the video was a bit long, but we decided to just do them all at once rather than break it up again ;)
Thanks, those looked great! Sarah, l like your hair. It looks longer, and maybe darker. Very pretty.
Thanks for mentioning that ---the rest of us are just guys so we never comment on each other's hairstyles... ;)

Violet Crumble, yes! I hope they do factory tours there ;)
You're correct about the Turkish, Paul. They are small but quite intense, I love them but they cost a lot here in Africa.
I'm not super crazy about the rosewater thing, but I would give it another chance because it was so interesting.
I’ve had most of these. All are pretty good. I found ume potato chips at our Japanese grocery the other day. I like them but I also love salt & vinegar chips.

Nice! Ume chips are really good! Usually they release them as a summer flavour here. Doesn't work so well as a soda though... ;)
Picnic is my favourite! 😅 I haven’t seen flakes in the shops as much anymore, but you can definitely still get a 99! The ume soda looked good too!
The ume soda was a bit of a struggle... ;)

Wow, I never knew there was a name for that!👍

The Picnic and Lion were both really good! Definitely give them a shot if you get the chance👍
A Flake in England is a memorable experience. English chocolate is the BEST💗
Is this an advertising slogan? ;)

I wonder why it got that name...

Yeah, thanks ---these had a rough trip here and arrived during some much hotter weather.
Lots if cool chocolate on this one I have tried a few of those flavors they are pretty good I liked the dice I have a few odd sided ones too
Oh yeah! That's right!👍

14! That's a lotta Chocolate!
We did six the first time, but decided to just do all the rest this time even though the video got kinda long...

thankyou so much my favourite guys and my no1 lady, thankyou
Oh yeah, we ate way too much chocolate this time
Grewup in Canada eating the Big Turk . I liked it but it is the best if it is kind of old and it is harder. It is a Turkish Delight
I know the name but have never tried it
Turkish delights are one of my favorites. Just ran out of my supply. Big in NZ too. A actual Half those chocs are nz chocs too.
My all time fave as well, we pay through our teeth here in South Africa cause they are imported. Was absolutely hilarious watching them eat it for the 1st time, grape 🍇? 😂 It is rose flavour, she was correct.
@@ldude cool. I guess it’s Cadbury making it. I’m going to nZ for Xmas. It’s on my list of snacks to catch up on.

You had a stash? Haha, nice! Hope you can restock at some point
@@CriticalEatsJapan in a few week. Going back for Xmas so will restock.
Chocolate ! I love chocolate.
A flake looks like a chocolate puff pastry
Do people normally just eat them straight out of the package? They seem really crumbly and messy...
I never had that problem but I have only eaten them in England.@@CriticalEatsJapan
Daim is great !
Also very intense, taste good but is sooooo sweet man, small amounts, lol.
I really liked it!👍
Lion is sweeter and not so tasty, at least for me @@ldude
It's a sweedish recipe made by the company who owns also the milka chocolate which is a big thing in europe @@CriticalEatsJapan
I; am guessing an Oh Henery in Cady Shack but it is just a guess
I think you're close ---it was a Baby Ruth apparently, but maybe similar
Thanks @vasyear! Realize you all had chocolate right?
Yes, we all had our fill of chocolate
Endorsed!!!! Part 2! Hey JD!!!!!! #sugarrush
Yes! Been a while since he joined us👍
You know flakes never melt … it’s due to the way the choc is tempered
Oh really? I did not know
Awesome taste test we have the Picnic bar here I love it but my least favorite is the Turkish Delight which we have here too, not a fan of that at all!!!!
Haha, I know it's a popular one ;)
Aloha!😎
Hey!👍
👍
✌️👍
:)
Probably in the minority when I say I don't caramel filling in chocolate bar. Not a fan..
I don't mind, but do have other preferences👍
