I have spent a fair amount of time wandering through that part of Utah.. It's magical indeed.
Some B&W are fantastic. Thanks for sharing :))
What’s an amazing place , fantastic images Todd, very jealous
I hope you do a workshop. I will be a customer. I live in Las Vegas and I share your enthusiasm with that kind of landscape. I have recently been experimenting with B&W photos and your shots have motivated me to go out and shoot more.
Wonderful images Todd. Looked like a very enjoyable day! Someday I would like to get out to that area of the U.S. for photography.
Tire tracks in every single shot indicate nobody goes there. You scout/shoot this with a vehicle, an off road motorcycle perhaps. A platform on a truck would be great for vantage point. Lots of nice rock structures, the B&W was a good idea, as would be a hint of low saturation color, or quadtone etc.
Wonderful place that you have shared in a wonderful way.
When watching some of your previous videos I was thinking how cool it would be to tag along. Glad you're thinking of it!
I’d love a workshop out there! Next time you’re in NM I can show you the places you missed not far from Bisti that just the locals know about.
I think you should do the workshop.
Best state for photography
I saw some tire tracks in the beginning of the video. Are vehicles allowed there. ATV's?
The photo at 10:36 is so beautiful!
That is an incredible location. Couldn’t you camp there? Hopefully you have more from this spot, torturous to have only a few hours. Is 4x4 required. Would love a workshop out there, but if I couldn’t make would pay just for GPS. Great to see Todd in the candy store again :)
Nice shots and great location. I feel like the one at 10:30 is a bit overcooked on the left. If it's gone for good you could easily just crop it and it would still look great.
Todd don't get me wrong I do so enjoy the B&W but you spent much of your time telling us how beautiful the colors were. So was a little confused. I would liked to have seen both versions of the photos. Just a thought.
I'd meet up with ya for a workshop. If I can afford it😉
Wickedly interesting and wonderfully photogenic. A gem indeed Todd. Question, purely out of lazy interest. I notice quite a number of tire tracks from vehicles of various descriptions, and you alluded to the fact you had quite a hike in order to get back...presumably to your vehicle. What prevented your driving in a wee bit closer for a reccie? I ask ONLY out of idle curiosity, "idle" in the laziest, couch potato-iest sense of the word.
Would you share the location?
Count me in for workshop there!
