Mukuta 9+ 200 Mile Review: Best Commuter Scooter Right Now?

  • Mukuta has the most innovative commuter scooter that I've ever tested. It is perfect for shorter commutes with a quick removable battery for easy charging at work. The beefy 8 inch tubeless puncture proof tires will resist flats better then most stock tires, while still giving you incredible grip on pavement, grass, or trails. The adjustable elastic suspension is incredibly comfortable, smooth, and quiet over all road imperfections. The scooter is expensive, but you get what you pay for in life, and in scooters as well.
    If you have any questions, drop a comment, happy to answer them! Will continue to ride this scooter this year and will let you know of any major issues.

    I forgot to mention the range:
    I've been getting around 15 miles under aggressive riding at 180 lbs.
    Jordyn gets around 20 miles at her 120 lbs.
    Weight will play a big factor on this scooter.

      Nice review mate, just a question: by aggressive riding you mean using the two motors and the race mode? I've got one myself and riding on sport mode and one motor only can't seem to get 20 miles on flat terrain (I'm 160 lbs). Wonder if that's normal or there is some issue with my battery

    This happened with a local restaurant in my town. A crawfish showed up at their door and they had the setup to keep it with their fish in the tank they have for the kids to look at. They had it for years now. They couldn't put it in the nearby pond because they had animals that would immediately eat it in the pond.

    Mukuta 10+ or Mukuta 9+ or VSETT 10+ ?
    I do 15km to work and another 15 back home.
    I am going for the 9+ because i will easily reach my destination, can remove battery and charge or maybe wont even need a charge ?
    however, the extra range capability to be more "free" from a charge or "detour" is appealing..
    any thoughts ?
    thanks, amazing review / video / knowledge

    so, are these pneumatic tires or must you manually inflate them? And, they say they are "puncture proof".. is that actually true?

    I'd probably say the Apollo Pro has a slightly more premium build, at least for the tires and body, nesr indestructible unibody design and self healing tires easily make it one of the most premium designs on the market, but i do like the battery setup on this model, only issue is it is motor dependant, going the opposite direction when it comes to simplicity, more moving parts=more headaches

    Mukuta measured the inflated height of the tire 😅. What's as inconvenient as going into park mode, you can't switch to to park once you switch into a drive mode. So the precautionary theory has a flaw.😅 Build quality on point with features you wont find at this price.

    I think it would be much better if Mukuta reverse that C-type suspension to front fork like what Nami did to their Nami BLAST! Check out what Nami did to their BLAST! It much better at grip no more wobbles no more damping. What do you think of Nami BLAST reverse C-type suspension? This is new technology to Nami.

      Na broh its way to big for a commute scooter, this one is the better option for a daily but yes for weekend fun power drive the blast is still the best 60v (stock) scooter on the market.

    I know the Mukuta models but the only thing I didn't understand and still don't know is who the hell is the Mukuta manufacturer? Does Mukuta have anything to do with VSETT, I find so much in common between them. Are they "brothers"?!?🤔🤔🤔😏😏😏

    Bro, get real. The highest IP ratings have TWO numbers. You are sponsored by Mukuta and that's okay, but don't spread bs like this scooter has the highest ratings and what not. Good commuters are low maintenance and Mukuta is known to be very high maintenance.

    • @ScootaGang
      @ScootaGang  Před 2 měsíci +3

      Far as I'm aware, the first number is the dust rating? Second number is the water rating? IP is typically testing for both at the same time last I checked. 6 is very good for scooters, the only way to get a 7 is if is submersible in a meter of water. I don't know any scooters that are a 7 but you must know based on your comment?
      Mukuta is not high maintenance, not sure who told you that. What's high maintence is every sub $500 scooter with tubes in it that go flat every month due to poor design. Most of them are not even close to as reliable as this.

    • @ScootaGang
      @ScootaGang  Před 2 měsíci +2

      I already have to make an update video because they printed the wrong size on the tires as well. Turns out is a 6 inch rim and 9 inch tire. But if you find me other equivalent spec scooters with IPx7 water rating, I'll also add that to the update, let me know.

    • @Trottinet-work
      @Trottinet-work Před 2 měsíci +1

      @@ScootaGang Dust and water rating are two different tests. The x simply means there was no test done on dust protection. And whatever you wish to believe, it is a super important test.
      What a do like about this scooter is the half twist throttle. Which is is so much safer than thumb throttles. We've been using twist throttles for over 150 years, because it offers the best full fist grip on the handle bar. Imagine motorcross was done with thumb throttles. Yeah no, most scooter manufactures need to stop trying reinventing hot water. 🙈🙉🙊
