I absolutely LOVE the culture these people create. All love around for everyone. It may be a completition, but at the end of the day, the progression of the sport as a whole with worlds firsts is the most important thing for them, no matter who lands the trick. This may be cheesy, but it’s honestly beautiful!

As somebody who’s broke their leg during sports I immediately paused the video when I seen this comment. I would literally watch people break stuff for fun before my injury now if I see one I barf on command pretty much.
For someone watching these kinda vids, y'all are such little girls lol. I'm not glad watching it either but this is extreme sports which means risks of injuries are extreme too. Pretty damn normal if you ask me
The special landing ramp that they use now (Thank you Travis) is super sick, that would have possibly killed that scooter guy if it was a typical wood or steel frame
I still don't believe how Travis Pastrana didn't get a perfect score when he did the world first double backflip on a motocross back in the day...
I think judges are reluctant to give a perfect score just on the off chance that somebody did something even crazier later in the competition, however unlikely that would be.
I've broken both legs and my left 3 times and watching the replay of that stack gave me the biggest pain and sent my body shivering cause that shit looked fucked up!

I've broken 7 bones in my body, only my leg 1 time tho.
At 5:00 minutes skip about 30 seconds unless you want to see a leg turn into spaghetti.

Damn, I still remember back in the early days when the first guy did a 540 on a quarter pipe. That was big news back then. Wish I had stayed doing freestyle. But like most, got older and kids. Still could do some stuff for my kids when they were little. 🤘

3:59 okay that isn’t a 720, if you look he does a double frontflip and a 360. He is only rotating backwards once. He’s doing a frontflip 270 and then kinda flairs that last flip.
Nitro circus and especially the world games, has pushed progression further than anyone could imagine
A lot of it has to do with the athletes being willing to leave it all on the ramp. Just full send every time, and new variations all the time. Compared to the X-games which, unfortunately, has gotten a bit stale as far as progression goes.
@@Gooberjack the safer ramps have definitely allowed them to push harder, but also the dynamic of touring together and always pushing each other has seen amazing leaps forward
