- I have done a bit more than 500km on this bike and it is still one of the best products of the year. My friend just got black one with different frame for himself and is very happy about the purchase.

Hey, thank you for your great videos, I'm thinking about buying this Electric Bike, I watched your 2 videos, but you didn't mentioned how long does the battery lasts and if the bike works/helps in steep hills? Looking forward to hear your opinion, Just subscribed btw!

@@marcelveldhuisen3036 I have asked the seller for the update, sorry for the inconvenience
Thanks for your review. How has it been cycling on icy and snowy roads during December?
Hi, I was on holiday in a warm climate this year :D and when I came back it was no snow. Do not charge li-ion packs in below-zero temperatures! (really helpful that you can bring in the pack home)
Where do you buy the thumb throttle from? I checked on eleglide's website and cannot see any
it came with the bike, I do not know if they sell it separately? If not, then you can adapt any other throttle, I believe.
Excellent review! because of this I ended up buying this bike, although I have a question... I noticed that the assist modes, the only thing they do is to accelerate till the set speed. independently on how fast I'm pedalling. is this normal? I was a bit disappointed about this. is not like an "intelligent system" that it would adapt on how fast I'm pedalling for the assisted power.
Hi, yes, the assist is pretty “basic”. I normally set it on the desired speed, in a way that the bike helps me to quickly accelerate to the setpoint and then I do 90% of work peddaling. If I get too tired it gets me back to the setpoint. It kind of works for many km in that way :D Otherwise, I use the thumb throttle to gently adjust the assist. It is rare to see an “intelligent assist on cheaper bikes. My custom-built Radon has a very “intelligent” controller that costs about 530eur :D
I got mine and it is great, although I have no clue about the battery, when do you know it is fully charged? Does the red light on the charger go green? Incidentaly, the charger is extremely hot to the touch when charging
it should get green. You can turn on the dash and check the voltage/charge level. A fully charged pack should be 42V (can be limited a bit to like 41 or similar, need to check myself)
Pitty you don't mention the wheels. How do the tires hold up with glass : a flat tire straight away ? If you weigh 100 kg and you drive through potholes in the road , can he handle that ? The spokes?
I have done around ~600km now and there is nothing to mention yet. Wheels are still straight, tires are still inflated, no flats yet
Hello, i bought 2 T1 and both have same problem - randomly shut down and turn off display and motor. It can’t turn on until I take battery out and in again. Then it’s able to turn on again. Any ideas? Can the rain damage it?
Mine was left in rain many times with no issues… there might be many reasons, what you can do is check all the connectors and if that does not help - reach out to the seller
Is the pedaling at 32km / h still pleasant with only 7 gears ??
It is quite high cadence, but most important - possible :D i can actually keep pedaling at 34-35km/h and on uphil of a gust of wind the motor helps a bit :)
Thank you for info. This bike have rotation sensor like move around peddels, is forward with less power? Is this a good bike because i drive about 5000 per year.
It does have the “pedal assist” sensor, but it does not adjust the power depending on speed/strength of pedalling
@@VRMinde Thank you, Good just what look for. i drive Qwic RD9.2 have same. Did you have also flat tires due metal parts inside rim?
Could you please give an update on the bicycle 😊
- Any problems?
- How many kilometres?
- Still good build quality?
- Encounters with Danish police, if yes, why?
Thanks 😊
Also, is it possible to remove the battery pack and keep the bicycle outside even if its raining? 😊
I was riding it yesterday actually, recovering from my knee surgery and needing an electric bike now as I am not strong enough for a normal bike pedalling. Did not look at the km, but it should be above 1k now, I think.
It has been left for 5 days in a rain, mud, long trips, short trips. No problems still. The brakes are still really shit :D Need to figure out some brake upgrade for it. Otherwise still happy with the bike
Thanks for responding, I'm considering buying this but was concerned about overall quality. I guess replacement of brakes wouldn't be a big issue. Would you happen to know if the tires are puncture resistant? 😊
@@TheRealGolay Well, I have not had a puncture yet, so I have not looked inside them. But it makes me assume they should be puncture resistant or I am just very lucky :D
Thanks great review. Looking to buy the step through version for the wife at £866 only to find through the link that they don't sip to UK! Amazon price is £950
something must have changed with the shipping to UK. You are the second person telling this in the last couple weeks. Weird and unfortunate :/
Have you tried Pogo Cycles? £805. They are based in Ireland but their stock comes from Europe. I believe they ship to the UK.
When I go to their website, the T1 has a 250 Watts motor, but you mention 500 Watts at the 3 minutes mark, I don't understand how you have a 500 Watts T1
It might have 250w motor, but the controller pulls 500w through it without any major issues :)
Ou je peux réparer mon vélo eleglide
Can you change the speed from 25 to lets say 32km/h?
Yes, I can’t remember now exactly what was the max, but it was around 32-35km/h
Hi, great video. I would like to ask though please, if anyone knows how to change the speed limiter to 32km/h?? For 'off road use' obviously 😏
I think you just hold the up and down buttons for a few seconds :)
Thanks for the reply, it's all sorted. Also, they have now upgraded the grips to lock grips 👍
Is it easy to replace the battery if needed?
Did I not show it? There is a little lock and a key, you twist the key and the battery pops out. You can even carry it home or to the office for charging instead of carrying entire bike. Can't be easier than that
Is it easy to replace the battery, as in buy a new one when the original looses efficiency over time.

hi did you get error 30 ?
no errors, works like a charm
I just buy 2 of this last week and I have a problem... When I drive it the display works wrong it shows me that I drive like from 15 kilometers to 57 all the time goes up and down and the motor stops working. Anyone has any idea?
Sounds like the connection of HAL sensors could be wrong. 1. Check all the cable connectors, if that does not help - reach out to the seller, they should support you
@@VRMinde it happened after 3km of driving, i will check all the wire contacts and try again
@@giorgostsourvakas1714 Any progress?
still the same problem, it doesn't do it all the time but it's very annoying because when it happens the motor stops. is there any chance the battery has a problem
@@giorgostsourvakas1714 if it happens from time to time - it will unlikely be the battery. Connector/cable/controller I would say, but that is of course just a gues...
Is it a male or female model of bike?
I guess it is considered "female", but in many nordic countries people do not give a shit and call it "city frame" :)
Hi thanks, great video, is it possible to have updated codes?
