    Something to know...If you go to your account with the CRA and look for a tab that says Cheques you may have some money that is owed to you. It could be an old GST cheque that was mailed to you but you had moved and it never got to you, or it could be something else that's owed to you. They keep it there and will not inform you about it being there but if you check your account there may be money waiting for you. I can't remember but I think it is on the right sided of the page and one of the bottom tabs and says "Cheques"

      it's strange, it's your money and I claimed mine, three different cheques, about 280 dollars in total, but unless you claim them it will sit there forever, they will never contact you to inform you of this

      @@john15008 I haven’t had a family doctor since pandemic. I don’t benefit on any government benefits. I don’t have any children. The amount of tax deducted from my paycheque is insane!

    Too many rules and regulations, changes, unnecessary credits, loopholes. .
    Just get rid of income tax and have a 13% sales tax on new non-essential goods

    Unless you owe money you can wait up to 10 years to file your return. After 10 years you cannot file - even if you owed them money.

    Its worth it to do your taxes, if you owe you add more per paycheck, donate too, claim rent. If you dont your putting cash in your landlords pocket.

      Taxation is theft by threat of violence, but the criminals did write it into their "laws" if you want to get technical about it.
