Meredith, it's good to see your crops weren't affected by the storms, and river water. Congrats on the new horse trailer that should really come in handy. Over the weekendnwe had rain storms, and flooding. 10 inches of rain in 3 hours. Washed away our driveway, on over flowed our pond.

You are going to have to tell LB to turn the hay forks on the tractor toward the ground when he gets off of it. Somebody is going to walk into that prong and lose an eye.

congratulations on the new to you trailer. Very similar to the one we had at Kern Arabian, it will make shows and trail rides much easier... happy for you.. we had 6 inches of rain in two days and lost power for only 2 hours in Durham. definitely dodged a bullet .

Down here in GA just west of I 95 we got 13.1" over a 72 hr period. We still have flooded small towns. We will get things put back to normal over time. Prayers to all of you.
Have you heard about dish soap and water in a sprayer for wasps. I think the recipe is 2tblsp per cup of water. It will kill them on contact.

There should be a farrier you on call in times your regular farrier is out of town or sick. We got around 6in of rain from Hurricane Debby here in Northern Wayne County, NC. We had 5 inches starting Wednesday and Thursday. We were on the eastern edge of the storm.
