Additional scenario for all "IN" types: went on a trip, but 0.3 seconds in hid in the back room to avoid socializing and going outside. As a result, they'd spend the movie either asleep or talking to a cat and emerge in a week or so, completely unaware that something has even happened.

Befriend the villain's cat and then survive either because the villain can't kill anyone the cat likes or everyone walks away while holding the cat between the villain and them, then the cat follows them onto the boat/escape transport, then that triggers the sequel with the next extroverted tour group as the villain mourn's their lost cat...as a ghost with a chainsaw but a weakness for trip wires :)

    • @wimsylogic65
      @wimsylogic65 Před rokem

Nah. Not for this INFP. 1st of all I think there's a total possibility of the killer just dismissing the INFp.
Really depends on the reasons for the killer killing these people.
But not everyone to end up being a killer is a psychopath. Not all of them are 100% pure evil.
And I think if there's even the tiniest percentage Of humanity still left in that person the INFP would affect them. At the very least I think it would cause hesitationIn killing the INFP.
This should give the INFP time . Time to go through so many different scenarios in their head, To decide on a course of action.
Only to forget everything and just let your body react in the moment.
When you go into survival mode you start noticing weak points on your opponent And escape roots.
It's difficult with people who are like psychopaths because Their body language and Face expressions don't match up with, Basically they're difficult to read they give a lot of mixed messages.
They just give off in over sense of unease. Very difficult to define what they may be thinking. it's scary, keep eye contact.
Like you're in a Quick Draw in a Western. Watch Where their eyes move and be ready to Act.
Remember it's OK to defend yourself, It's OK to hurt somebody who's trying to hurt you. Somebody who is trying to kill you has forfeited their humanity. They have become a monster.
INF p's don't be the damsel and distress. You can use your feelings to your advantage in these situations.
You can still feel sad compassion for those you lost after your safe.
Access your vast wealth of knowledge from stories and imagination. Don't tell me you've never pretended to be in a sword fight. Or imagined that you defeated some great evil in your life.
Access that and let your body take over. Let the energy of your will to live Push you past your normal limits. Run like you Could fly.
Your eyesight can become clearer, You're hearing more high end, Your body diverts that energy that would normally go towards our feelings and diverts it into survival senses.
Your brain starts calculating things in an instant and you start seeing multiple pathways and options at once.
INF p's, Don't sell yourself short. I know it's hard to imagine if you've never faced a situation that is true life-and-death. It's hard to think that you could ever bring yourself to do anything when you've never had to fight for your life.
Hard to imagine when You have trouble even hurting bugs.
I used to think that I would rather just be killed than hurt anybody else. Maybe it's different because I'm a mom now.
I have a mama bear inside me now. You know I like it a lot better. I like that When I have no other option, I won't give up. I wont sacrifice myself In some silly notion of not causing a harm to another. I have the will to fight.
And I can't believe I'm admitting this but if it comes have to be prepared For the possibility to kill. If someone is trying to kill you, Do not go easy on them. Do not try to do as little damage as possible To the attacker.
Is that moment of Giving them a chance, Could be the chance that takes you down or They use it to get a hostage. Like one of your children.
It helps to start thinking about these very difficult things beforehand. So that your brain can have a pathway of ideas to go to an emergencies.
I say this as someone who spent most of my life thinking I would choose to die. So for anybody not just INF p's who want to live, It's OK for you to fight for your life.

There are plenty of people I dislike that don't set up these alarms, so it's not like I'm trying to come up with an excuse to dislike someone. It's just -- it is what it is. Something about them isn't right.

INTP's conclusion works on the concept that the person has never seen a horror movie before. If they are aware of horror tropes and general horror monster types (ghosts, unkillable killer, killable killer, etc), they can adjust their plans to counter what would otherwise be seen as unpredictable. Even if the killer is always unpredictable, being always unpredictable makes it predictable that they will be unpredictable, which makes them predictable.

    • @suzyocean7392

lol the biggest problem as INTP's are that we think by understanding and thinking we can solve any type of situation ,very unrealistic idea. Yes lets say everything go predicted as we want, yet that does not mean we can avoid the danger and also that does not mean we can execute the plan. For example think person who is holding a pistol at you, you may predict he shoots yet can you dodge the bullet? (Think he as a good shooter ) ,no you can't. Just knowing the prediction does not always solves the problem. Thinking about the about what to do and doing it in real life are two different things.
For living example take us (INTP) as example we wait till the last day of exam having a plan of studying all important things in the last day's night. The plan itself may not be impractical but when it comes to doing we can't do it. Because we aren't capable of even sitting and doing a boring thing whole night long lol 😑, yeah many INTP has this problem ,they wait till deadline lol. Planing is crucial yet when it comes to executing them it requires different thing than what it takes to plan it. Like we have a plan to do all work in last night, its after we sit and began to work we understand , its takes lot of efforts to do it as well.
Hope u all INTP's doing a good job on life. Cause we are the most worthless among the rest, because we never shine good as we are capable of in real life. Hope u all have the effort same as u all have a good brain , Love u all

ENTP here, I think we have the redemption arc. Early in the movie we're harsh and derisive towards the more helpless types but as the situation deteriorates and our friends keep dying, we channel our cavalier attitude into an act of self sacrifice that creates an opportunity for the remaining survivors to escape.
The end of the movie shows the survivors at an unveiling ceremony of a national monument erected in our honor.

As an INTJ, assuming I actually went with a group of large people into the woods for some reason, I would likely be the one to discover the monsters’ weakness and exploit it through some sort of Se improvisation, (like air freshener and a lighter to make a flamethrower) Te logic (discovering the monster’s weakness is fire) and Ni planning(getting the monster to walk into a trap, close enough so that I can roast it and then finish it off with a weapon I brought because I don’t trust creepy woods and always expect the worst could happen). I do this when watching horror movies, often getting irritated with the characters for not finding it sooner, considering I figure it out very early on.

INTJ could be the villain I guess. But I always imagined INTJ as the kind of character who went alone into the haunted woods to check out the scene before they were supposed to go with their friends. Then when they don't show up on the day everyone is supposed to leave, their friends just shrug and say "typical INTJ". When they get to the haunted forest cabin, strange things start to happen and they find a breadcrumb trail of research and clues that INTJ hid in order to help them defeat the monster.

    INFJ here.
Someone said when playing a paintball scrimmage, they thought it was like a horror movie, because they thought I was eliminated early in the game not seeing me anywhere.
Only for me to come out behind the other team after half of them were eliminated, shredding everyone in the back and ending the game. I do usually make the playbooks, 3d playbooks that work extremely well. One tournament the point lasted a record 12 seconds based off of a 3d plan. Unfortunately, my team would not shut up, as much as I told them to keep quiet. They revealed the plan when the other team absolutely mind blown wondered how they lined up their shots so perfectly and knew to point blank the guy in the center. They were too celebratory and pridefully stupid to protect the idea. The next few games were not good for us.
It is extremely hard to get people to try out my plans, even after colorizing them with graphics and texts. Mainly because the plans take risks and have nuances that work if executed, but seem impossible [to them] to do. Sometimes I just execute the plan myself, and win the finals ignoring what anyone else on my team wants to do. They think to play conservative on that last point, but that is too predictable.

As an INTJ who constantly talks about how my friends and I would fare in a horror movie, it has been heavily agreed upon that I would either be the killer/villain or I would survive by being more psychopathic than the villain by ending up making the villain suffer through something worse than the fate they had out for me. I’d go full out Sam from Scream VI

Wow, lately ISFJs are getting a lot more attention. We started out being stereotyped as nurses and cookie bakers (I do love to bake! 🤣), but now we can actually survive horror movies by being agreeable and normal. I guess normal and nice doesn’t mean naive. Yay, us!!!

I'm an ISFJ but I often think that I'll be the first one to die to protect my beloved fam. It's not like I would go and jump in front of the train to save my sister (I would if it's really the case), but I want to make sure that they will survive or at least safely went in the safe point, so I'll do my best to protect myself in order to protect them.

We ISFJs survive but come out if it with horrible survivors guilt that makes us either the tormented mastermind revenge villain of the next movie or the "stop off at the insane asylum to pry some exposition out of the only remaining survivor" stop for the new protagonists in the reboot. 😆 (For real, though, I'm glad I'm not the only ISFJ who felt sort of weird about not getting to sacrifice myself to save people in this scenario!)

It’s true though. Hubby is offended he wouldn’t survive the movie either, then proceeded to argue with himself for 10 minutes about why he would “logically” survive. 🤣🤣🤣

Your analysis was intriguing. It made me think of one of my favorite horror movies, The Thing (1982). I remember when I shared the movie at a college dorm once, one man asked me afterwards: "That was pretty good, but how come they didn't stay together?" If you have seen the film, you know a lot of the tension of it comes from the fact that the monster can imitate humans, and if some of the characters go separate ways, they can then become suspicious of cast members they haven't seen for awhile. His question struck me as really strange. A lot of the excitement of the film comes from that ambiguity about who is the monster and who is human. But maybe that's my ENFP personality speaking. I think I kind of assume that quite a bit of life is chaotic, and it isn't surprising if people make mistakes like separating from their comrades when they should stay together. I suppose that man probably belonged to one of the more "organized" orientations.

What an interesting take! As an ISFJ, I’m flattered, who knew that being “normal” would make you a survivor, I always thought that you need to be pretty special to get anywhere in life. Oh, wait, is that what to be a winner means? Survivor is not necessarily a winner. I rarely watch horror movies, but I think the reason why my personality makes it to the end is because ISFJs have a hard time accepting the true evil nature of a villain. A lot of bad things need to happen before we finally step up and fight back. And even then, unlike ENTJ, who will happily take on a villain and bring him down, proud in their righteousness, we’ll do it only out of necessity, with a great sadness. And there’s survivor’s guilt… But that’s another story

So true! At first we make a lot of excuses for mean people, thinking maybe they’re going through a bad time or maybe we misunderstood the situation. So when they turn out evil for real, it is sad! But since we ISFJS learn by example, we get swifter to recognize the signs as we get older or gain more experience.

Believing in the good nature of evil ppl puts u in danger. But intjs dislike noisy, or partylovers or attention seeking or domineering ppl or even worse ppl who like to brag. By behaving decently no estj and esp. Entj would stop from protecting u and mostlikely intjs would never attack you as in killing u, or make fun of you, or disrespect u.
