    The major item that sets the Neveland heated Vest apart from others is the ability to heat either the front or the rear of the jacket separately. Of course, you can turn the heat on for both the front and back at the same time if you want. Also, this vest has a heated collar that really helps you to feel the heat from the jacket in your neck and also that heated area helps to warm your body quickly.
    For the price, this is one of the best Amazon purchases I have ever made. The jacket is comfortable, stylish and fits very well.

    Heated gear has become something of interest mostly due to riding SXSs in cold weather. I chose to share this "Amazon's Choice" jacket with you as it has been a game-changer for me while riding. While sitting in a seat, sometimes you want your back heated and sometimes you don't. Many times, when I need heat, it is just below my helmet and around my neck. This system works out very well and it does not advertise to everyone when we stop and take off our jackets that I am wearing heated gear. The jacket is also slippery enough on the outside to move with other jackets and not stick and get uncomfortable. For the price, it has been great to me and I thought I would share.

      A heated vest with no sleeves makes perfect sense lol

    I hate the light on heated jackets. People who don’t know about them, always think I’m recording them.

      Worst part is when the heated jacket is on the blue setting and people ask if it's cooling now.

    Been happy with my ororo jacket and it seemed really high quality. Wonder how this compares to their vest.

    In the radio control world 2 cell batteries are 7.4 V and come in multi amp hour and physical sizes. One can build a wire adapter to integrate with this jacket and run many hours.

      OMG. I never even thought of putting my huge Traxxas 5Ah battery in here. And with that said, I do not see a need to. This battery lasts a very long time.

    As a framer and working outside, on the ocean with high winds ..I never understood the need for heated jackets or vests.
    Heat is lost through the head , hands and feet . Get good boots, ( you don’t even need thermal socks) , a good hat ( I wear a baseball cap and under that a Milwaukee full head/ face and neck protection and my hood.
    Gloves are usually just cheap brown cotton with the red liner inside and change them out to dry ones multiple times a day.
    The only essential is a carhart windbreaker( rain defender) I think…the wind is what makes you cold .

      I would agree. When working hard outside, I never wear a heated vest. The only time I would is if I was working hard and then sitting after I was sweating. As stated in the video, I got this for riding. Sitting for long periods with cold around my neck is uncomfortable and this corrects that easily and is part of my layering. I can also dress lighter so it allows for more movement. I get what you are saying because it is not right for your application.

      Another thing that makes you cold is your own sweat. When sleeping in subzero camping at night, I learned the first night to never sleep fully dressed while in a sleeping bag.
      Layered clothing was a thing the gov publicized for decades and in survival manuals. It’s easy to add or remove layers of clothes.
      Now a hand warmer is nice for as long as it last.

    Always appreciate great recommendations. The neck warmer would be great for snowmobiling, and I like the ability to choose front and/or back.
    My issue with vests- They only heat the part of me which isn’t cold. I always hear, “a warm core keeps your extremities warm”…while my hands and feet freeze. Personally, I’d be more likely to buy a jacket with only arm…or even wrist warmers.
    I’ve been looking for heated and well insulated gloves. While I have come across a few respectable looking models, I question their reliability. Wires and such would be subjected to dozens of snowboard binding releases and ratcheting a day.

      I use leather FXR gloves for skiing and snowmobiling and have never had cold hands.

    If this worked with the 12v M12 stuff. Id be in. Ive got a step up cable and batt pack for the m12 stuff that works great. Dont think 7.4v would work, and dont want another battery lol..too many already. Good looking vest though.

    • @WorkshopAddict
      @WorkshopAddict  Před 6 měsíci

      I understand that! The reason I do want another battery pack is because I want it small and flat. Comfortable for being in a SXS, Skid Steer, Tractor or truck. Love my M12 stuff, dislike the bulk when I am out playing. I have one heck of a bruise from an M12 and it won't get me again.

    • @J.Wick.
      @J.Wick. Před 6 měsíci

      @@WorkshopAddict I get that. That's why I don't use the M12 batteries. Just a step up cable, and a small batt pack like the one for this vest, but 12v out capable.
