The fact this song is so different from what I normally expect to find in a desert stage is perhaps why it is one of my favourite desert-level themes of all time.
Also this is the final stage of the game, so it’s gotta be more grand than most stages, unlike most Desert levels that are either somewhere at the start or the middle of the game And this theme resembles the final boss’ second phase most too, which also happens to be the song used for the trailer of the game
On the contrary, the choir synth you hear is very similar to the one used during the desert level in Paper Mario for the N64, so they may have had the desert in mind when they composed this music.
I would consider the last level of Wario World to be damn near perfect! The music, exploring for treasure, climbing the pyramid. The trapdoors & iron trapdoors were pretty good but there was one puzzle I had a problem with, one of the puzzles didn't have a solution and you had to set up a block just right to make what feels like an unintended awkward jump.
I think Pecan Sands was the first level they worked on, it’s in lots of promotional material, so it can explain why it’s so damn good, they spent the most time on this one, golly I wish most levels were as connected as Pecan Sands, going all over the place on the pyramid was awesome, I could just drop off if I missed something or easily get to the very spot of where the missing thing is, unlike the rest of the levels that demand you to go back to the start with the balloons if you forgot something (I’m looking at you Shivering Mountain with the hecking slides >:u)
Same composer as Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening and Super Metroid, and that speaks for itself. Alongside another composer who was with Treasure when they developed this game. Hope that helps!
GOD this song, level, and game (in general) is AMAZING!!! Such nostalgia is such sweet sorrow!! No more needs to be said about this MASTERPIECE of a SONATA!!🤌🤌 You could tell this level and this song is where Wario REALLY started KICKING BUTT in the game BEYOND BELIEF!!!!!💪😎💨💨 Man Nintendo needs to make more of this, yeah you heard me… COME ON NINTENDO!!!!! 💪💪🧄🧄💎💎
This hits nostalgia so much this fairly odd parents ty the tasmanian tiger and donkey Kong 64 all these ost's would be in my mind and I'm missing friends when they're gone or people I miss or old times this helps bring back that feel the way it sounds!!!!!! Still a nice ost to this day!!!!!
Can't thank you enough for these uploads. Feels like my whole life has been leading up to hearing this song in this high quality.
Thanks a lot! :D
I miss Warios platforming games I hope they bring them back one day. Also it’s pretty cool hearing this song in high quality.
Home of the most frustrating block puzzle. You know the one.
GAH THAT FUCKING JUMP
Idk if it was in this level but i remember one of the end-game metal trapdoor puzzles giving me so much trouble, i kept falling
@@Stratilex What about Captain Skull? That was the hardest part of the whole game.
@@dragonmanover9000 that's the boss with the pirate ship right?
@@Stratilex Yeah.

same
the whole wario world OST is surprisingly good
Love how you’re expecting a desert-themed level to have the traditional sand-level song with it, but then they hit you with this.
Oddly enough, I think it fits very well for something like a ginormous Egyptian temple unearthed from the desert sands.
And you remember it isn't the second world

Oh ABSOLUTELY!!💪💪
I often find myself humming music from this game to myself because of how catchy it was. One of my favorites was probably either this or Wonky Circus.
Why was Wario world's music so frigin good?
IKR?! Who the hell produced this music and didn't win a Grammy or 10?! Biased ass music industry!
That is what happens when you remove the leash on the developers.

@@tallmyster1323 technically one of the Super Metroid composers, but the main one on Metroid Fusion. Great soundtracks for different reasons.
Thank god I could listen to this badass track while I couldn't wrap my head around this level. Collecting the stuff here was pain.
One of these days we will get a sequel 😔
🤞
Or a remaster :(
Criminally underrated song for a criminally underrated game
This track is hands down , the most badass in the whole game. Fight me.

Make wario games great again.

This sound track is just amazing!!!

The Weathervane Twister From Mario superstar baseball in Wario Palace nice Reference.
I wonder if the sand in this level is just crushed pecans...
I keep forgetting this one existed, though the music is cool
