Honestly Fi-Se can be a healing loop, when Se is bounded in small bits. For example if you're in the hellish Ni-Fi loop, switch to Fi-Se. Do some art or doodles. Se will be happy to see if you're doing it aesthetically, Fi will be happy youte expressing your emotions and preferences. It was such a healing method for me. If you can't draw you can do this in other ways like photography or other art skills like sewing or even in gaming like building houses in the sims and decorating them to your Se and Fi preference. Please do this if you're in Ni-Fi.... it will get you out. Cheers - intj

Best explanation of INTJ loops I seen . Thank you! you are also the only one who mentioned TeSe adrenaline/cortisol spring to action loop. Often I am stuck in NiFi or FiSe. But when shit really gets to my door - then I finally disregard perfectionism, fear of failures or whatever was stopping be from completing what needs to be done before. I become extremely productive. The frantic run to catchup departing train effect

I really appreciate you mentioning how Fi healing and Se physical care are so important. I am happiest when I'm being active, getting out, and making myself available.

wow! So spot on. I binge eat, run long distance- almost daily- and when I do, i drink A LOT, all to zone out and escape. It's so nice to hear this explained. Balance has been elusive to me and something I strive for the most. Thanks!!!

    And in idiot terms:
Internally: Use intuition and come up with ideas/solutions, do not allow your emotions to dominate
Externally: Base your actions on facts and logic, not your thirst to exploit vices and other escape mechanisms

IKR? I am INTJ and can't stand listening to someone go on & on, just get to the point so I can either think about it and do my own research or let me leave. Next! Thank you and goodbye.

How as a partner ENTP to a unhealthy INTJ do u deal with this eggshell situation .all his gf used him in his eyes , but like a catch 22 I can’t win. Basically I feel he’s a great white shark waiting to eat me as a seal.
I try to give him space .. yeahhh don’t work ..
Pride soooooo much and he can’t see he’s to blame. I’m not here to slate him but help us as he’s lovely

I am not a psychologist, I'm only an INTJ. When I get stuck in my eggshell, the one thing I care about most it what can wrench me out of it, cold hard logic. It hurts when we realize we're being illogical and unreasonable, but hard pills to swallow is the life history of an INTJ.

    1. Can we experience several loops at the same time? (at least two?) 2. Is there some sort of Fi/Te loop? 3. What does Te "do" during Ni-Fi loop? I'm assuming that it's somewhat active but cannot penetrate the loop, break the cycle?

    • @nigt0wl341
      @nigt0wl341 Před 4 lety +1

Once you gain a better understanding about all the Cognitive funtions in your stack, it's easier to recognise what's what and how it operates for each individual introspecting.
For instance, looking back I remember clearly, before being aware of the significance of my type, I was in a Ni+Te working towards my goal, then - a moment of Ni+Fi introspecting if what I was actually doing was inline with my Fi convictions + Ni vision, as a result I decided I needed to change plans to pursue Ni vision, Te agreed. Then something happened, devistated my plans and wounded my Fi, Ni wasn't happy, went into a protective Fi+Se loop and my Te was less effective. Hope this helps.
In regards to Fi/Te, after learning more about MBTI, I attempted to Conciously(Te) ask my Fi to chime in on a decision, if it "feels" Right or not, in an effort to "work in harmony on a decision" (Ni+Te acting in harmony with Fi Convictions), but when I did that, It's like Te knocking on Fi's door and nobody's home.

The car model concept is very helpful, but I thought the 3 y/o (Fi) sat behind the driver (Ni) and the 10 y/o (Se) sits behind the co-pilot (Te).
Thus, like typical 3 y/o children who tend to live for enjoyed feelings & can't be reasoned with seek out (addictions - drugs, etc) loop with the 10 y/o who has a bit more reasoning power about sensory input, but can still get easily overwhelmed.
It seems most addicts can kinda understand stress but easily give in to their "3 y/o's" drive for pleasure.
    Can you help clarify this?
