I hope the writers soft pedal his "weirdness" it gets annoying after a while, and a bit offensive. We get it, Spencer is extremely smart, with poor social skills, who babbles on about things people aren't interested in. It's time to move on with that trope
Rachel Garber I like being able to relate to the babbling and the weirdness I hope they never change him
Anisa Lopez It's cute, and I like it, but it gets cliche after a while, what's really starting to bother me, is he's the go-to character for drama and angst. Now he's in jail for a murder he didn't commit. and the Mr. Scratch trope seems to have taken the place of the serial killer who killed Halley. I'm beginning to wonder if the writers hate the character, or MGG. And of course we can't forget Mark Hamill's menacing character. Are BAU agents really stalked that much in real life?
i wouldn't think so cuz in real life the BAU people don't go on missions they work desk jobs they just deliver the profile they don't go in the field, maybe they overdid it in these new seasons idk i haven't watched them yet i'm only on like s11e4
Anisa Lopez The real BAU must have changed because I just checked the FBI BAU official site, and in addition to telephone conference calls, and/or consultations held by the BAU with case investigators, their services consist of on-site consultations, assistance to the LEOS through the process of criminal analysis including interaction with the victim. There was more detail, but it would take up to much time and space to write here.
Rachel Garber when I checked it it said they just gave the profile and didn't assist on site at all,
