  • The Cavan Way, a short but delightful hiking trail that stretches from one border of Cavan to the other.
    I had less than a day to complete this trial so the pressure was slightly on but that never took away from the enjoyment of hiking this trail.
    My poor feet were very happy on this trail as most of it is off-road with a few sections pulling on to country lanes and one busy road. Another marvel if you have time is the Cavan Burren.
    This is the 12th section of The Ireland Way and the final stage of the Beara-Breifne Way.
    Please follow along and watch my epic adventure as I walk 1000km from the bottom all the way to the very top of Ireland

      Thank you so much, I love hiking and I love filming so doing both for me is a great combination. I have 3 more videos of the Ireland way left and then I'll be trying something a new which I'm looking forward to and I hope you will also enjoy.

      Wow, thank you so much for that wonderful comment. Comments like this make it all worthwhile so thank you. I love a good story and getting out, meeting people and hearing their amazing lives is something I relish and I'm delighted it comes through that way. We have such an amazing cure for so many ailments just outside our doorsteps I really hope you get out and enjoy it.

    What's that stamping thing ? Is that for all long trails or do you have to get a certain book/passport thingy for that ? 😄

    • @RuaTheFox
      @RuaTheFox Před 3 lety

      Do you think it would be worth camping halfway through it? 😄

    • @MountainMikesAdventures
      @MountainMikesAdventures  Před 3 lety

      The Cavan Way is part of a bigger trail The Beara-Brefine Way which starts in the Beara peninsula and finishes in Cavan. You can get a passport and you stamp it in each town/village you pass through. Each place has its own unique stamp
