Just came across this vid and must say this AMZ racing looks really cool. The floor is clearly perfect for drifting but can see it takes a lot of skill to control the car without crashing. Perfect to covid-19 lockdown fun!

Love the Scooby shell! was the first extra shell I bought for my AWD. It did annoy me though that it does not have light buckets for Headlights and Brake lights,
yes its annoying . I am working on a white body sub that I intend to put a lights kit in . Everyone needs a Scooby in their life.

Welcome. I have this Subaru included in the readyset from Kyosho.
I've made some changes to the car. I have Front Oneway Unit installed in the front and Rigid Axle in the back. Drift tires are just like they were with a car. I am thinking about changing the engine from standard to X-SPEED V Motor. If I can ask, please tell me if it makes sense to mount this engine. Is there anything else to change in this model to make the drift pleasant.
Do you have a gyro?
@@GarageMiniRCUK I forgot to write that I have a gyroscope. Tell me if it's worth installing X-SPEED V Motor. Is it better to leave the standard engine. Is there anything else that you would change in this configuration
I would leave the standard set up alone unless you are going to compete with other racers who have this motor . which batteries are you using ? Orion 750mah are very good and give great punch .

Will Orion 750mah be better?
@@adogde6874 yes. I've used the 1100 they last longer but are heavy and not as good for acceleration. The 750 are blue in colour and very good.
Great video. I use to race drones but moved away so from my team. Now I think I’ll get into cars. I like the AMZ. Can you recommend a tx and mini rx to use on it.

Thanks, is budget an issue? Do you intend to get a mini z evo in the future? Flysky nb4 tx and Rx (they do a micro Rx too now) is my favourite. If budget, then radiolink rc4gs Is a great radio with built in gyro.
I might get a mini z. I just wanted something to get started into cars. I use to have tarnis stuff when I raved drones. Also what about chargers?
@@Fishingfilms for a mini z aaa charger and good 750mah nimh like orion will do. For amz you ll need lipo batteries and a charger for them. I'm sure I demoed it recently.

The car is about £120dollars thst includes motor /esc/servo then you need your radio and battery.
Where may I purchase this from I need the Subaru for my collection !

I figured it would but it wouldn’t have been the first time I got something that wasn’t compatible with what I was trying to build.
I did a whole video on ma030 and body types that fit. I tested 20 bodies. 😂
