How about a person regardless of gender or race/color, is elected based on their character/ performance/ principles/ and generally how capable they are of getting the job done right??!! It's just mind blowing how people can make decisions based on ... nothing important. By the way, it also begs to question, if you do make decisions based on Race/ Gender, as I hear over and over again, isn't that being racist and being bias towards a certain gender? The supporters of people like Hillary Clinton, and those in the ranks with the aforementioned, tend to have double standards, and play that "when it's convenient to my agenda" game ... over and over again. People like Mr. Carolla need to say things based on something (anything!) from time to time, just so it doesn't sound like they sucking up to their Hollywood employers ... hey I understand, people gotta' work, right?
you are absolutely right. it is really expected for whites to be open minded about electing someone outside their own ethnicity. does anyone bother to ask why over 90% of blacks voted for obama and why they wouldn't be open minded to vote for a white person? i believe that adam here is just making an observation about how people in today's society feel.

i don't think that adam is so much stating his opinion here. he has his thinking cap on and observing how things are in this country now. even though adam is liberal on some things, if a principled conservative were to get the next GOP nomination, i'm willing to bet adam would choose that person over the next dem.
