- What makes a Paoletti guitar unique is the careful selection and use of aged chestnut woods, preserved and reclaimed from our 130+ year-old wine barrels. The vibrations that a chestnut body generates are one of a kind in frequency and harmony. They offer tonal sustain across the full harmonic spectrum. This one has been made in collaboration with Jonathan Koh.

Congratulations! Checked out their site - nice to see the guitar up there! The 3 pick-up mix is great, guitar sounds superb. TBH I am not a fan of the distressed / relic thing - just a old fashioned that way, I guess - but if playability and sound are as good as this then aesthetics are just down to personal taste 🙂You deserve a signature guitar !!!

Wonderful showcase of the guitar @Jon! My great grandparents were from Italy; so this was an extra special treat to see!! I read the specs on your guitar, and it was fun to read and though I have an acoustic guitar, I'm out of the loop on some of the tech of pick-ups and electronics. @@JonIsJustTooLoud Hey bro!! Sadly it hurt so bad as it swelled , I cried out literally to just die. It was the worst pain then it burst and oh man. I felt all that relief. But I had horrible ringing for 6 months. It still rings a bit and often will ache a bit. Doc saw it and said it didn't look right and ordered a specialist which I don't have insurance for so I just keep praying it stays at bay ...I'm OK right now and usually these will heal themselves. I think this happened once before 20 or so years ago but didn't hurt as bad when it burst no blood like this time. So maybe its scarred up. I can hear OK not perfectly but again no pain and in OK. I keep prayers. Too much money I don't have for specialist to see it. Thanks for the check up my friend. Take care and I pray you are OK. I had a covid shot number 2 when that went away the 2 nights side effects this came. Also my blood pressure. They put me on BP med.

This is a beautiful guitar and you coaxed some great tones out of it! In case some of your viewers cannot afford this fine instrument, Fret-King makes a Guitar that has identical specs and pickup combinations with the tremolo for about 8 to $900 that would fit the same bill.
