Flight to Welshpool and North Wales

After a few cancelled attempts to fly to Welshpool, we finally had a weekend with excellent flying weather in the beginning of May, 2014.
We stayed with relatives who live close to the airport. It was so nice to visit them this way. We had a great time!
Anne, Jacqueline and I started our flying trip at Teuge in the Netherlands and first flew to Cambridge in the UK for a short stop.
Then we continued our flight to Welshpool / Mid Wales Airport, which is just across the border in Powys, Wales.
On Saturday morning I had the great pleasure of making a local flight to North Wales with Jennifer on the right seat beside me, while Anne and Jacqueline went shopping in Shrewsbury.
The Welsh countryside with its hills, mountains and coastline is beautiful to fly over and see from above and I recognised many places where we used to go on holidays when I was young.
