I know this is old but that Einstein looking guy needs to watch og dragonball as do many super and z only fans ..then you may get gokus character and appeal more..hes kind of a hero before z even started....z is more split up but the og series is his growth and affect on others...its almost poetic that the gohan arc follows side by side with gokus in z..its like this series once had heart and was more about characters and plot then actual fighting?...oh cause it was until super...it always had that.....the anime always extended the fights...toei is know for that...the manga fights unless their huge important ones like piccolo jr or freeza are usually really short...heck goku vs kid buu was like 1 chapter...and that's the final big fight of the franchise..akira didn't like to draw fighting much..he cared about depth and story and twists and motivations..its the backbone for the series....more than just fights..sadly its what its most known for..
