I like the pin cushion. I was sewing something the other day for the first time in years. I don't own a pin cushion. I do own foundation applicators though. It's absolutely perfect in a pinch.
Great use for the toilet roll inners, I have lots of cotton reels and have been wondering about the best way to keep them together, this solves that problem nicely. Will be collecting toilet rolls and looking for some nice craft paper, or is it fabric scraps, to finish the tops of the tubes. The shoe box idea is also great, would like to know if it is covered with fabric or paper, or a combination, as the video isn't very clear on this. Have to make a sewing box for emergencies and this would be a great way to do it. Many thanks and the idea will be adapted and used.
Of course you can make it with bigger or smaller box as well :-) It depends only how many paper tubes you want to put inside ;-) Good luck! And thank you!
