Elwha Dam Removal in Washington State was attended by lots of important people including Senators: Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell. Dana Lyons performed one of his songs "Drop of Water."

We sang this song at the skowiltz and king island actions in bc. The largest roadless area of its kind left unprotected on the planet. Now big oil wants to punch a pipeline right through it to serve Chinese fuel interests and open up this last roadless valley of its kind. Old long houses and totem poles from yesteryear throughout ancient trees that it takes thirty people together their arms around. Thank you for your writing and music Dana. On our rivers the river suir and Barrow in south east Ireland have been ruined by river training groynes .. acres of mud have silted up the forshore countless creatures have been killed salmon smolt are easy prey as they try to make it down stream as there passage is hindered by groynes
