Each week night, THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN throws the ultimate late night after party with a mix of celebrity guests, edgy musical acts, games and sketches. Corden differentiates his show by offering viewers a peek behind-the-scenes into the green room, bringing all of his guests out at once and lending his musical and acting talents to various sketches. Additionally, bandleader Reggie Watts and the house band provide original, improvised music throughout the show. Since Corden took the reigns as host in March 2015, he has quickly become known for generating buzzworthy viral videos, such as Carpool Karaoke."

It seems like he's always in character as Jesse and I can't tell if that's just how he is or if Jesse is a part of him now.
it's just who he is. if he was in character, he'd be screaming "bitch" after stuff
ramonypony It's almost like Jesse is a part of him but I think it was put on in this skit too. I've watched plenty of other videos/interviews where he's a total sweetheart, a reason why he's my favourite actor :)
Jesse was a very, very literal extension of himself. I mean Aaron Paul is great at acting and was superb in that show, but I don't think he's got the best range. He brought a lot of elements of himself into that performance. And he was so good they kept him alive for the duration of the show (they originally planned to have him killed in Season 1 before the writer's strike happened around that same time). However, I don't know that that's what was best for his career, because you're not the only one who only sees Jesse when they see him. That's called typecasting. Actors who stay in the business avoid this like the plague. I think he's great but his choice of projects to work on have been severely limited as a result of his role in Breaking Bad.
voteZDLR I mean, i think the original commenter is right. If you watch Aaron Paul in Ghost Writer in 2006 he's playing a pretty different character than Jesse (and, funny enough, he's doing it with Giancarlo Esposito.)

This makes me so happy, and I always feel the happiness and sadness of 2000s Aaron Paul. The guy was broke and was so happy when he got the opportunity, it's contagious.

Aaron seems to be such a nice and funny person. And we all were expecting him to say "yeah bitch" because we cant get over Breaking Bad, we just can't
He's nice. He's from my hometown. He buys out the local theater and lets locals go in to watch a premier of a show he's in with him. He's very chill. If people visit his house in LA, he'll come out and talk to them. Idaho is still home for him. He's got a cabin in McCall Idaho close to my family's, and he chills there a lot in the summer to get away from the LA life for a bit. It's a small town on a lake. Perfect for those from the Boise area.
Mandan Howard we have the same experience with Drew Carey here in Cleveland. I live like a mile away from him. There is a shopping center about halfway between each of our houses and we see him there every once in awhile. Very congenial. Very down the Earth.

It's shocking how tiny Price's set is in reality...
the way those shows are shot has a lot to do with it. I took a tour of NBC's studios in New York and the Tonight Show's studio is a lot smaller than I thought it would be, same with SNL's studio. I highly recommend taking that tour if you ever get the chance.
A lot of it is how historic the Price Is Right set was too. It hasn't moved since 1972, I think, so it's still the same little 300-capacity venue it was then, no matter how popular it got.

And Corden... ehhhhh, you never hear about his interviews, so he's basically the CBS Fallon, except he does more off-studio skits that are filmed and edited.
