This set looks awesome, I think the Japanese cards have much better quality control compared to English. I always feel like I get a couple really bad quality cards in almost every product I open for English.
Which also means English PSA 10s probably going to be more expensive since its hard to get good quality. For example: Triplet Beat AR Magikarp Japanese PSA 10 80$ but in Paldea Evolved its worth $500 PSA 10
I agree. I pulled four different gold energy cards from recent sets (in german) and all of them have a really bad centering. Most of the other good pulls also have left/right issues.

The Japanese sets always have fire artwork. They are very skilled with bringing out the best environment in each Pokémon ❤

@@pokemonplayground2167 Don’t get me wrong 151 pretty fire too, but it was also another Kanto set. I also absolutely LOVE a lot of the Raging Surf arts (again, 151 was great also)

I truly enjoy opening Japanese Pokemon packs. Something about opening them just feels a little xtra special to me for some reason?! The artwork and illustrations that I could see look marvelous. So jealous of your life bro..., but Thank you so much for sharing. 🙂

I decided to get back into collecting myself and think I might try and aim for a full complete set of this one... or well, the English version of it (I think it's Paradox Rift?). Still, it's just amazing how fantastic the alternative artworks are though.

I remember as a kid our folks would get the japanese sets from the swap meets cause they were the cheapest and nobody wanted to bother to learn to read them but me and my cousins would. They were always the last to go, glad to see them getting the love in the states 😊
