THE HOLY CITY OF MASHHAD:
On a day tirp from Tehran, today we are going to be visiting Irans Holiest site which is in the city og Mashhad. We are visiting the Imam Reza shrine which is a complex which contains the mausoleum of Imam Reza (as), the eighth Imam of Twelver Shias. It is the largest mosque in the world by area.
Visiting the holiest city of Iran in such occasions especially in Muharram at Imam Reza Shrine is also really spiritual.
Also contained within the complex are the Goharshad Mosque, a museum, a library, four seminaries, a cemetery, the Razavi University of Islamic Sciences, a dining hall for pilgrims, vast prayer halls, and other buildings.
When I went inside the haram of the Abal Hasan Mola Shah e Khurasan all of a sudden the New Mola Raza (a.s) Manqabat of 2024 recited by Mir Hasan Mir came in my mind, although my most favorite title is Nadeem Sarwar's Maula I,a, E Raza which was released in 2020. Another title which is Zamin e Ahoo of Mola Raza is wonderfully recited by Mir Sajjad Mir for children as a new poem in 2021 come in my mind when I visit. Poems for kids as such with great animation like Islamic cartoon is a great way to teach kids in Hindi, Urdu and English language.
