- This stormgate build order tutorial will walk you through a vanguard lancer opening into fast Exo production. The idea here is to take the creep camps nice and early to get extra luminite and build a strong army off one base to then either attack with or claim more creep camps to fund a base expansion
This stormgate build order tutorial will also give you some adaptation suggestions depending on what your enemy might be doing.

Haha niiiice! Don't worry about following it super exactly, as long as you know the ideas and the order of things as you'll also need to learn how to adapt your builds as you play more and more 👍. Great to see you found it somewhat useful though 💪
Nice. One base and going for camps is definitely the way to go. You get so much money from camps that I don't think its worth it to fast expand. I've been having success with mass dogs into exos and transitioning into helicarriers in the late game.
I do hope Friday's patch does something to make conventional greedy openers worth it compared to safe or aggressive openers into creeping. Until then, I'll probably follow this build.
I'm learning so much thanks Farm Man!! What do I do when the infernal shows up in my base with 30 fiends at the 4 minute mark? Or when a vector shows up at 2min? Does this build counter those? Great videos keep it up!
I think that against infernal vanguard is going to have to wall like protoss does against zerg in sc2. Either with a lancer holding the gap or even full walling with an extra barracks or something and then refunding it. Vectors i've seen some success with mass dog with claw upgrade but they still get to eat every creep camp on the map for free.
This doesn't really explain why going for creep is better than fast expanding - I'm new and not really familiar, I thought the towers you take in this example just provide healing and vision? Is there some economic gain involved too?
vanguard units gain exp in battle, so he's upgrading his units
You make a good point, apologies! Noted for next time. But to answer: You get a lot of luminite from killing the creeps 🙂. its a big injection of resources

Nice build. Seems like this would be vulnerable to the mass doggo meta though. Should do a video showing the mass doggo opener
Yeh its super vulnerable, I wouldn't recommend this vs Vanguard tbh. I would go doggos or lancer opening 🙂
