Via Selam Toll cost : 840, but there is another route : After Ulundur pet, Perambalur, Karur,Kangayam,Palladam,Coimbatore Toll 400, 40km lesser also.

Nice vlog and very detailed about the Tolls and Road conditions... But we usually prefer to travel via Vellore road with family which make them feel comfortable due to less traffic and very good road conditions and it has fewer tolls and less travel time compared to GST road. Also, there are a few other roads where you can skip "Omalur / Sankari / Vijayamangalam / Karumathampatti" Tolls if you want.

Regarding, ulunthurpettai to Salem we had same experience(irrespective of the time either day or night). The road was not good in many places and single/double road for approx 130kms. If you stuck beyond heavy vehicle then it is gone case, we have to wait for entire 2 or 3kms overtaken.
I am also supporting to reduce the Toll gate in this route and extend the single road to double road.

I frequently drive from Chennai to Salem, I hate the ulundurpet to salem stretch as well. But its a scenic road so I don't mind slowing down from time to time. Worst time to drive on this highway would be during sugarcane harvest time, where the tractors would slow you down like anything. Good thing is, the road work started to extend the lanes, so it should be fine in another 1 or 2 years hopefully.

Planning a long drive this month from Gujarat to ECR and from there to Kerala and back.Since we faced problem of underbody scraping on bumps and bad roads will be installing the coil spring Buffer.

I installed the Coil spring buffer in my Ciaz yesterday.
@@harmonymusiceventssurattho6517 let me know the experience sir.. I heard that it not only reduce the under damage and also making the suspension hard and give different experience in small pits and joints in bridges.

Mam, we filled around 30 litres and consumed around 27-28 litre at that time. Our highway average milage is 18-18.5. Price may varry now and also vehicle milage matter.
