Maybe she is an introverted person, a little bit shy, humble and you, Mr. Rapper, are the opposite in that sense...maybe being the way she is has helped her to deal with the darkness of show business and its risks...Sometimes in life Less is More and success comes more from within (the inner life of a person) than from external recognition...She had then already a name and you were trying to make one for yourself by her side: that is the difference.

Actually, she is a very nice, kind person and more of an introvert. She has the absolute right to decide what show she wants to do or not. This dude is ungrateful and years later is still trying to milk her music by doing shows with some girl doing her parts - pathetic. C.C. Catch, on the other hand, is a legend and a disco queen.Period.
